Eli
So much space. Is it a corridor or a space subway/metro/underground? How did you achieve the perspective?

lynxster4
Wow! That is a fantastic pic Rickhum. Looks like a gateway to other worlds. Where did you go? Not many peeps coming home... (I see the T.A.R.D.I.S.!) Rickhum
Thanks ppl, The ride home can be a tad lonesome Pix' as not many are going where I'm going. Yeah that's a nod to "The Doctor" Red Ochre. It's a ship of some sort Eli, I Think it's called 1 point perspective, I'm not big on technique but it seems a necessary evil. It's an analogy and a bit of a joke about my feelings (and probably others) of coming from another planet (reality) Lynxster. Note the planet & tardis as left and right brain or the polarity between instinct and intellect and the other passenger maybe alter ego. We all go home alone in the end and we often need to stand alone on our journey. I need to do more work on the window as the perspective is not quite right. Thanks again folks & pardon my rant but I'm a philosopher trapped in the body of an ageing hippy :-) Edited September 28, 2016 by Rickhum Correct spelling Quote “Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see further.” ― Thomas Carlyle
Woodsy
Wow RickHum! This is a seriously great image! I thought your eagle was good but this tells a very meaningful story. Your perspective is great and I don't think you need to work on the windows. Maybe it's taking you to a better place. 1 Quote My PDN Gallery

Rickhum
This may Show how I got the perspective Eli. I made a pattern and copied the layers on top of each whilst reducing each layer x 10% Then added the lights etc' etc. I work intuitively. There was no plan, just a feeling. Thank you Seerose and Maxi. I've looked for but cant find your gallery Max. Rickhum
Totes Lynxster, I felt like I was "pushing it" but gave it a go. I'm already deconstructing this cause there may be another one in me. Cheers for your interest Lynx, Cool moniker btw :-) 1 Quote “Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see further.” ― Thomas Carlyle

Ego Eram Reputo
Have you seen the Planetoid plugin? (there's a link in my signature) With a little work you can make very passable moons.... ^ This was created from two moons + additive mode on the upper layer. Both made from the same settings (+ Reseed) on each active layer in Planetoid. 3 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
Rickhum
Yes I've tried the planetoid plugin and it does a good job but I'm after something else. I'm presently ensconced in relevant tuts that I've since found.. Thanks for the info and interest Ego. Rickhum
I decided I was bloody potato @ making celestials so I did a few tuts & had another go. I've kept my original blue planet (which is made from a photo I took of Lapis lazuli). I reinvented my sun and moon. Tacked it together and whacked in a bit of dust and Bob'your uncle. Rickhum
Cheers Woodsy and Pixey. Yeah I'm stuck on space scapes. It will take a few more days to perfect my ellements after working thru all the tuts but I'll be doing more space themes.
