looks great to me, the tree is a little spunky, but i like it anyways...

i just noticed how that style of grass is becoming quite popular, i wonder if some one could make a effect for making all kinds of grass, like that or like real grass... that would be so sweet

I appreciate the tips! I did a quick motion blur on the inside of the curve, and edited the post to fix (some of) the roughness.

The tree was made using Ash's wood stems tutorial. I spent so much time wonking that tree with dents and bulges... I had to keep going with it.

The fire effects rock. I've been toying with pdn for a couple of weeks now, and it's all I can do to keep from using fire in every creation.

I'll probably regret sharing before I've mastered this... but here's something I did this morning (100% pdn) based on a compilation of several tutorials:

Good job , I like to see people creating their own drawings - like yours-not just take ready objects and add some effects :idea:every thing is pefect just the moon needs some improvement

@ FLNagle... thank you and I like the CD label looks cool.

@ Yellowman WOW. I don't think silver or bronze comes close ... that image is pure gold. Brilliant, yet again

Sorry, Janetsue. I skimmed right over your tree. Very nice. The only thing I'd suggest would be a little more lighting and shading on the main stalk of the tree - but my home monitor is admittedly a little dark.

stealthed- I like it. The rough lines give it a cartoon-ish but cool feel. I wouldn't change a thing.

Playing with shape3d, rotate, and bevel, plus a series of circles bulged:

My mouse is acting up, so I'm trying to learn ways to use the effects plugins until I can get back to pixel work. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

atypicalcarl, that made me hungry :D

I see there's a sudden pandemic of treemaking. *enjoying the results*

A friend of mine tried to make a glass of wine in PdN.. I'm sorry to say this, but it was horrible  soo..

My first-ever try at making a glass of wine :P

Dreamer__s_wine_by_Fingleschkaise.png

I see all the little faults in it.. I'll do better next time

Two major things that I'd like to point out because you say you caught many errors.

1. Too much of a black spot between the wine and the neck

2. The space where the neck meets the base needs serious touchups.

BONUS 3. The top of the base is really :AntiAliasingOff:

@EscapistAngel: Great wineglass, even thought it's jagged at some points. I like the glass.

@Pineapple: Wow, I really like how you did the monitor. I also like the wooden table. Awesome work!

Here's a vase I did:

thanks! I updated with pictures to compare with my real komputer (of a few months ago but still), and you can see a version with more... pineyness... in my fruit bunker.

and i really like that vase, but you should make the bottom flatter and add a little scene. everytime i see a vase or a cup it reminds me of Expired's awesome cup of coffee. even though it was (eww) brown coffee..

^ Expiration (expired) made that awesome coffee cup.

Kemaru, define a light source on the vase, and then give it spherical shading with dodging and burning. ;)

Yellowman I really like!

The tree I have been working on. I took some liberties with color.

th_softoilsz.png

Thank you,Your tree is Fantastic , colors are cool I guess less plugins were used here it is like all hand drawings.

@....becauseiwantedto, lol you are right it is self photo and I am holding a small book not a camera the flash reflection is faked_PDN made_ :)

@....Goonfella thank you, and yes they are vases :D you know I like vases.By the way < i saw the Twisters the are excellent I love the one with lightening very much.

@....topezia...thanks so much

@....welshblue.. thank you, your words are gold.

@....atypicalcarl, I didn't know that some plugins can cook too, :P looks realistic and well done. Thanks for the comment.

@....EscapistAngel Not bad glass of wine, but the wine color is very good try next time to make the surface of the wine as an ellipse shape -like the top of the glass-it will look much better.

@....Kemaru The green vase is very clean and so plastic, :D you shaped the opening a very good way.

I am seeing a lot of good work here

@....PineappleQc The snowden is very good, try to not ignore the small things, I mean the wires connections continue them down or don't put them.

@....stealthed The apple by a tree looks cool I like the colors, but it needs more work to look realistic, like the grass you made it very well. And thanks for your comment.

Thanks all great friends sorry I missed any one.

I called this one SUMMER it is all PDN 100% :P :

I love that, yellowman. Bright and serene at the same time. :)

Playing with a water theme myself:

Pyrochild's jitter is an awesome effect! Ed Harvey's effects rock, too. Both were used atop hand-work to create the waterfall and foliage.

That waterfall is great--the flow of the actual water is perfect, and the foliage was done in a very artistic manner that I really like. I would desktop-wallpaper that =P

@yellowman: I love your "summer" too. It also has that artistic vibe-thing to it. The only thing I want to point out are the coconuts. One is placed as if it were sorta floating in the air. It's obviously so minor it doesn't matter, but I'm only pointing it out if you hadn't noticed and didn't like it. Anyway, great job. I'm so jealous of both of you, lol.
