Here's my try at this fabulous tut....a malachite brooch.   I made it a brushed gold effect.   I see many, many possibilities... :D

What I do not understand why should I repeat from Part 2, from Part 1 to 7?

@Seerose - If you have done steps 1 - 7 there is no need to repeat them for the 2nd part to add the Texture. 

 

i.e  Steps 1 - 12 is for making a plain rope with no texture.

 

      For making a rope with Texture ............. stop in Part 1, at step 7, then continue with steps 13 - 22.

 

I hope that makes sense?
