Rick Brewster
This release is going pretty smoothly! I just had to fix a few small things that were pointed out in the thread for the alpha release, and get the translations up-to-date. To get this update, make sure you have "Also check for pre-release (beta) versions" enabled in Settings, and then click on the Check Now button. (Unfortunately alpha/beta releases are not currently available for the Microsoft Store version of the app). You can also download and install this build directly: https://www.getpaint.net/files/zip/test/paint.net.4.215.7690.33565.install.zip Changes since 4.2.15 alpha build 7683: Changed: In the Text tool, Ctrl+(Backspace, Delete, Arrow Keys) has been improved to work more like Microsoft Word. Thanks to @Bruce Bowyer-Smyth for the patch! Fixed: The sliders for color gradients (e.g. Colors form, some plugins) are now properly visible for the Light and Blue themes. Reported here: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/117660-paintnet-4215-alpha-build-7683/?do=findComment&comment=579778 Fixed: Some old plugins by Ed Harvey were not working. toe_head2001
The ColorWheel Sliders are upside down in IndirectUI. Well, the track markers are correct, but the backgrounds are upside down. 2 My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab

Ladybug
@Rick Brewsterthank you for all the work you put into PDN. I know its a small improvement compared to other more complex coding you have done but I am really liking that shapes stay put in the same order. 1 Click HERE to see my Pictorium of images I have worked on. I failed to notice that they are also upside down in the alpha release. Upgrading to the beta... Rick was asking for the Windows DPI setting of your display / monitor. Is your Windows install in English? Have you customized the standard Windows font? Or, changed the size to make it bigger? ardneh
Yes. The font size was set to 135%. At 100% everything fits. I don't recall the font setting at 135% being a problem with paint.net 4.2.14. Will reinstall 4.2.14 and check. ========================= With paint.net 4.2.14 reinstalled the clipping is there. Surprised I hadn't noticed it. I can live with the clipping better than the tiny letters and numbers. Edited January 22, 2021 by ardneh
Rick Brewster
Setting the font size isn't well supported. I recommend setting the DPI (scaling) instead.
