jake2k
How bout you just make some letters then? Grab some cardboard and make them then spray paint them whatever color you want, now all you have to do is take a picture haha. Here's something for Valentines Day: EDIT: Maybe I should add the original haha Happy Valentines Day everyone! 007 Nab
Very cool - the distort achieves the same effect as blurring and sharpening - it brings out the focal. yellowman
I am seeing some good work here, I wish if every one provided the source images to compare . I like what Max Power posted (on page 14) and Jellyboots (on page 21) they both made a great job. Here is my try in this thread: ....Before.... ....After.... LFC4EVER
Looks good, really good distorting. Blur the background with unfocus+ instead of gaussian. And blur the highlights on the drops, it'll make it look more like the photo's version. Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆ .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::. jake2k
wow great job on that yellowman! Looks great, and I agree with LFC4EVER about the blurring that would make it look even better. Took a picture of my camera with my camera(used a mirror) lol: Here's the original images: Quote ^Click to visit my Flickr Gallery^
jake2k
I've been messing with trying to replicate the HDR image style in Paint.net and here's some of my first results: Some of the effects used: -shadow/highlight recovery -local contrast enhancement -sharpen -glow plus some other adjustments As soon as I get it to a point that looks good I'll make a tut Quote ^Click to visit my Flickr Gallery^
Lance McKnight
I don't think I had ever post one of my photo manipulation in this umbrella, so here goes: ^Larger Version Available^ The castle and cloud were stock image. 007 Nab
Excellent work on the HDR Jake! That looks fantastic! I like your version better than Photomatix's. Storm.Shadow- Manip looks good- I wouls harpen up the moon a bit, and make the clouds fade as they get over the trees - looks a bit unnatural. Good job overall, though. SCUBA!!!!
Jake2K your photos are awesomer and the way you bring the life to them is awesome. I have to say that the pics with the vintage look could use a little grain but overall the pictures with the editing do look very professional. . yellowman
@ jake2k...This is excellent, I like the idea the water looks so pure and crystal, if you can re photograph it after trimming your nails( I assume they are your hands or your friends) or just try to modified them in such a way like fading out their white color.....( you have PDN don't forget and it is so powerful for these things) it will look much better. And the other 3 images are very good too specially the phonograph looks very old picture  try adding a wide white frame to it with some dark spots and some cracks then apply the sepia effect it will look older. @ SCUBA!!!!.... Good try, the front and trunk need some work it is blurry try to show more details Quote My GalleryMy YouTube Channel "PDN Tutorials"

Cirque
Tilo; I love the squirrel, the colours blend really well, and it looks like a normal photo.. apart from the fact its a multicoloured squirrel This is my first experiment with paint.net, it turned out better than I thought it would... but my expectations were pretty low Thats my nephew, but i think i went a little overboard with the contrast; he looks kinda pale xD Can you see where I got lazy with the eraser?
