MadJik
Julia “plus” texture (fractal) What's this? This effect is based on the built-in render effect Julia. It was also a sample source for the CodeLab. My version of this effect allows more things to play with. The effect works well with large images. I have tested 8000x8000 (see my DeviantArt). This is a texture plugin. It replaces the selection (or fill the active layer if no selection) as the built-in Julia. Download it! Plugin JuliaPlus.dll Here is the DLL http://jcljay.free.fr/pdn/JuliaPlus.zip The MadJik's All plugins package is available! http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=7186 How to install Close Paint.net Classic version of Paint.net Unzip and (re)place the DLL in your Effect folder usually: C:/Program Files/Paint.NET/Effects Microsoft Store version of Paint.net Unzip and (re)place the DLL in your Effect folder usually: /My Documents/paint.net App Files/Effects/ You have to adapt for your language My Documents The User interface This plugin is added to the menu Effects, submenu Texture. Heat factor Slider from cold to hot up to flame the picture. Zoom Zoom in (preferably) and zoom out. Normal value zero zoom is 1000. Offset Move the center of the origin (or show I say the origin of the center?). Power two / Power ten Adjustments in the formulas. Remarkable value is Power ten=0. Power 2 greater than 8-10 with large images could be CPU consuming and latencies. Range / Detail adjustment Main adjustments in the formulas to add/reduce details and convolutions. Effect X / Y Distortion of the result. Negative values make transparent areas like a checker. Also efficient when Power2 =0. Effect Red / Green / Blue Color adjustments per channel. Quality Anti-aliasing slider. I prefer 0 to have every single pixel detail. Tip: As this effect produce transparent areas I often work with a background layer with a radial gradient. The choice of the background colors is important for the final result. The Examples: Not only Julia+ Reworked Voilà! Enjoy! Let me see what you could do with it! Ego Eram Reputo
@MadJik - lovely new plugin. Thanks! You might want to edit your installation instructions as those won't work with the Store version of paint.net. Users wishing to install your plugin(s) for the Store version should install to /My Documents/paint.net App Files/Effects/ or /My Documents/paint.net App Files/Filetypes/ 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker

lifeday
Today was a good day, my cold has largely disappeared, so I could sit at the unloved textures to understand them. System and patience should be something a beginner like me should bring along, then it will work. I hope that such pictures can serve as encouragement for other beginners to continue on the exciting path and to participate from the really great works here in the forum. Greetings from Hamburg lifeday

lifeday
Hi MadJik, They're writing: Me love them. . . For me, they were a book with seven seals and not very attractive, just like the writings or letters. I wanted to paint pictures to match the stories I published in Pdf's or my HP that was my real interest. What I didn't want to do was to get too busy with these things. When I realized that I will never understand Paint. Net and all the wonderful plugins as I did, I have been working intensively with them for about 5 months now, day after day after day - many hours at a time and produced beautiful pictures. And now I have learned the scripts full of joy and now I have made myself to the textures. Only without structures, today I explore the plugins in very small fonts and I am happy with the result. Of course, the result of my presentation is not comparable to the great effects of the pictures, which are adjusted, but it bothers me less, because I get inspiration from such templates of others and the rest makes the time and my desire to create small works and integrate them into pictures. Sorry, for this long text, I just wanted to find a way to my personal: now I love these huge little plugins! A good night and greetings lifeday
