Tuvm Maxi' yes it's all Pdn. It mostly consists of the "Carbon fibre" texture,

I can't recall where I found it but think it way cool and versatile.

Tuvm LD, so long as u r critters get on with my cat, welcome aboard and

Pixey its a spaceship thingy not a train but yeah it looks a bit trainy :-)

Inspired x the greenhouse ship in the movie 'Silent running' from about 1972 .

Cheers Red, it's ashly a study for texture, shading and one point perspective.

Its also the first time I've used "Curves" for colouring as well. I previously just used the palette.

I've built houses that didn't take as long as this piece but thats all part of the learning curve I guess.

I need to make time for checking out the forum as well.

Ooohhhh....love all the different textures!   <3   Are we out in space somewhere?  That's the feeling I get.  (Yes, I see that now from reading your above comment, which I didn't see) Thinking of a holodeck from Star Trek.   Great work @Rickhum!   :D   And you quoted Scotty....:P

Great piece RickHum! I love your perspective work and your texturing is good also. I always enjoy seeing what you've come up with next.

Love the Fuschia Room. I could spend a long time in here.

Great textures & there really is so much to this image. It would have taken an age to do but well worth it! :star:

Good onya Woodsy, tuvm Hippie and Cheers BarbQ, good to hear from you.

I'm presently working on animating some of these works into a story of sorts.

It's pretty slow going as I'm working on thousands of frames and I seem to delete

more than I keep..Will post some eg's when I'm happy with it.

Not sure what is happening with Photobucket but it still seems to work for me.

I've not looked @ anyone elses work of late but will get onto it eventually.

Good onya Paintniks, I hope all is well.

An enthralling journey looking at your work.  It made me feel quite nostalgic thinking of Dug and Possum' and the way they opened up the mind.

An absolute pleasure to view such creativity .

Flora Dora is just one that is jaw droppingly appealing

I'm gonna have to delete my old PB links and move my gallery from PB to Imgur.

Hi @Rickhum your images are not showing.  This is what you must do:

1.  Copy the last 7 digits from the code on Imgur - like this A3IOUtT

2.  Click on the black square with the green dot in the tool bar on this page (upper right hand side)

3.  Add the 7 digits to the box.

Voila:

Many thanks Pixey.

It looked O.K. from my end. Still having a little trouble working out how to drive Imgur.

Thank you Lynxster

Starfield is a still from an animation I'm working on.

There are a few changes to the forum interface that I'm sorting out.

Gotta tidy up my posts, work out Imgur and check out everyone's galleries.

I've been unable to work out how get the blue highlight around the name when responding.

Note to self;

I'm so mature and follically challenged I no longer have a bald patch, I have a hair.....patch.

Which is kinda weird cause in my heart I'm still 19.

Great colours on the hippy(ish) textile ... very realistic to dyed fabric, as is the carbon fibre.

And again on the starfield ... that's one thing I can never get right, but love those colours

I hear you.  Except I'm 18 and a skinhead.

Complete with Harrington and Doc Martens (punishment for all the bad 80's hairstyles and all the chemicals that went into them I reckon )

Tuvm for the feedback welshblue, much appreciated mate.

I'm never satisfied with my starfields but I have a go.

Thanks to Woodsy and Ego for the carbon fibre tut which

I've used as a base for several projects and textures.

I didn't wear Docs' back when because the skins wore them &

Skins was skins and freaks was freaks and never the twain did meet.

Docs' became cool at some stage tho & I still have a pair somewhere as they last forever.

Funny this life business :-)
