Looking for a shallow water tutorial

Thanks @Pixey! I love the silver bubbles you have on the water line! After much trial and error, I did end up getting an effect that I liked. I debated whether or not to post it, or to just let this post slip into obscurity. Guess I should've posted. This is what I ended up with: To be used with my other image of the claw marks: -
I love the shiny marbles, Pixey, but it's the train that really appeals to my steampunk side!

For a "failed" attempt, I'd say your speed painting still turned out pretty good!

It looks like a Blues snake charmer. I like the composition and colors and how much expression is in it.

I love the color mix on Quiet Waters. It has amazing atmosphere to it.

DUDE! Those are some awesome works. I love it, especially the creativity. My favorite so far is the road leading to the phone. Very cool. -
You've got a wonderfully fun style. I love the creepy touch!

Looking for a shallow water tutorial
hippiechos posted a topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Hi all! I'm looking for someone to point me in the direction of a tutorial to make some shallow water. I've got my base image, and I'd like to have a thin layer of water around the symbol, so that the symbol is poking up through the water, but have the water be clear enough to see through it down to the stone below. I also want to put a few droplets on the symbol itself, so if anyone has suggestions for tutorials there, I'm open to them. Thanks in advance. Loni -
Great tanks! I love the details and you are a marvel at shading.
