oma 29
been awhile since I did anything with water thought this lent itself well to that effect. might incorporate into a larger work at a latter date. best viewed in larger size on my deviant art site. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/60163018/ My Deviant Art Gallery Oma's Paint.Net gallery
trooper 0
I like that, Oma. Here's my variation on the theme: Bubbles and tunnels -- The colors turned out a bit drab, but in my defense I has just gotten home from work this morning. How did you get the "window" or "hole" effect in the main shape? Was it kind of "luck of the function" or did you plan that out? As always. .pdn on my site (large file). oma 29
can't recall exactly what I did as I've worked on this over several weeks steps were something like this that's a sphere shape there and little tilt/zoom on layer beleive I set to tile it on the zoom. made a 3d sphere and used plane setting dialed down until I had two separet parts similar to if you go on my deviant art like the rice paper but further apart. this is something like I had but can't recall the exact settings (this example is scaling 1.41 depth .77 plane map .28 axis 1 35.2 axis 2 108.4 axis 3 20.6 I may have rotated this at some point but gives you general idea of where I started the next step next I think I polar inversioned that and erased a bit out of the centre then I duplicated layer and polared again erasing again what I didn't want then somewhere in there changed some layer blends think it was set to glow I tried them all until I found one I liked the look of merged the two and rotated the whole image and added water effect. or something like that  My Deviant Art Gallery Oma's Paint.Net gallery

Now I will have to draw a can of bug spray :o Very nicely done But yeah, no orange color please. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You know you did good when Ash asks you how you did something. That's for sure! Thank guys ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @oma: Your images are too small :? But they seem to be very nice. Try appx. 640x480 so others can enjoy your work without the need to kiss their monitor :P @trooper: I like the bubble! @pyrochild: Very nice photos again! trooper 0
I like that image trooper, it looks like "The Tunnel of Love: Death Style" Thanks! I appreciate it. It's kind of amazing what you can do with PDN. That image started out as 4 squiggles of two different colors.

Thanks for the improv tutorial, too. I'm going to give some of the steps a shot -- I don't think I've really used some of the layer adjustments. The initial image you used to create this was interesting in itself just for the change in perspective, I think.

Whoa. That I like as well. The Tunnel of Love it is not ...kind of like the entrance to Metal Hell. I like this theme you have going.

verndewd 0
I was just making siggies and then I downloaded paint.net the other day.I am going on day 3.I seriously wasnt intending on getting crazy with it until i made a few trick items. Honestly I swaer i never thought something like this would ever interest me. In xara I was plugging along nicely until I realized , this is kinda gay coach( no ffense intended to anyone) A ferrari for a buddies sig. Turned out super cool. Then I realized Id have to really work at bieng creative 3D6 to compensate for the lack of ability. So i found this sweet little program and turned out this first based on this A nebula and a teraflop chip in a tao configuration(yin yang) Which in theme is pretty cool. and this was the end of that xara/PDN first run, And Break time one for the boss; And then after reading the fire tutorial I have never used computer art software in my life except in the past week-10 days. Xara was a cool siggy maker but PDN took my vision farther. a lot of this fractal stuff is just self education with the last one bieng more expressive . This is really a sweet program. retired from PDN forums. Later dewds
Ash 10
@verndewd: Very nice! Keep doing more and you will love PDN even more! Glad you've found the The pictorium All creations Ash + Paint.NET [ Googlepage | deviantArt | Club PDN | PDN Fan ]
verndewd 0
More plug ins and a lot more fervent searching for the capabilities limits on all of it. There are some great tweakers here on this software. I am just a grain of sand on this beach. But thanks to PDN I colored it and shaped it myself retired from PDN forums. Ash 10
Something I am still working on "Muscle Arm" The hand and the body is not finish I think I've found a better way to do eye balls, IMO it look pretty good.(I know I know, it has been done a lot) This was using shape3d. I believe is the same or very close to the way barkbark00 did a while back. I can do the next shape3d tut about this, or you want something else? Let me know.
