Rick Brewster
I don't recommend installing Michael J. Hardy's "paint". Max Power
We <...> pwned Photoshop CS3!! Take that Adobe! xD This Michael J. Hardy is even to stupid to remove the istock watermark with his "own" program. I tried it once, it's pretty easy when you know how. Hint: Blending Modes. If I see how he cut out the crayons on the "Creative Paint" logo with the magic wand it appears to me that he is probably a 12 year old homeschooled infant who believes no one will ever get him for his piracy. This Michael kid molested other opensource softwares too: http://youfailit.net/random/ripoff/mozillalite/ If I see such website layout I think I couldn't eat as much as I want to puke out again o_O Sweet: http://www.geocities.com/doomclone2/ He can't even write the word "experience"... Mike Ryan
I hope all of you know that it was proven Michael J. Hardy is the victim of identity theft. That is why there is always so much reference to his family and details about his family on each site dedicated to the crapware 'he' posts. Max Power
Interesting...which would lead us back to my "he's an infant" theory :> Doesn't anybody sued this Michael Brauer yet? Quote - My Gallery | My Deviant -
david.atwell
Well, Rick can't. As far as Paint.NET is concerned, though he's done a million unethical things, he's done nothing illegal. Sadly. Anyway, this is a discussion about Paint.NET and articles about its rising star, not a continued discussion of Michael J Hardy. Back on topic, please! startreksuite
Reading the latest PC World issue, Steve Bass says that Paint.Net is his choice of Photo Editors, since it is powerful and easy to use, and PhotoShop is too complex. Tanel
There's a large headline on download.com frontpage today. Today on Download.comPhotoshop killer? Free and focused Paint.NET packs in photo-editing tools to crop, rotate, resize images, and adjust colors for some of the most common image formats. The editor supports layers and effects, though red-eye removal is a weak point. Get Paint.NET for Windows

startreksuite
I have tried, and gave up on using PDN on red eye removal, after using the lasso or other selection tool. I have been using XN view or ACDSee 10 for that purpose. I have tried PS elements to do it, and it's not any better than PDN, IMO Quote my photobucket my blog my DA

BoltBait
Paint.NET's red eye removal is quite poor, this is a fact. I asked pyrochild if he was interested in making a better version but he was doing something else ... In Corel Photo Paint, the red eye removal is a tool, not an effect. When you select the tool, the cursor changes into an eye, then you simply click on in the center of the eye you want corrected and the tool handles the rest (including figuring out the proper size, etc.) Perhaps you could change yours to match?
