barbieq25
Thank you Lynxster for your encouraging comments. Pixey for me it is a triple joy Growing the plants, being able to take a decent photograph & then manipulate them. I remember the photos of you garden over the sea I will look st Imgur again. It is ridiculous the number of time I have to try to get the site to load. Even more annoying is that I paid good money for it. Thanks DG1 - Heavy use of Laplacian Pyramid filter is the main plugin & the only one I can remember using. The real flowers (well it's the leaves really) are thin & delicate Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. barbieq25
Thank you so much HyperMan. Now that we have had some discussion of showing original photos as well as the manipulated outcome, here is the first one for me. I took a photo of the bark on a tree in our backyard before the cyclone last year knocked it down. I've called it Elfin Woods. 1 Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. The way i see it you right & wrong. From one side, when god created the universe he created it from something = Chaos. The START of creation was made from something that not was in Order. Can you call the this creation from Chaos, creation from "destruction" ? If so, something was before in order that had to be destroyed. So, we come now to the question, What was first ? the Order or the Chaos ? And another question that come with after is, Creation = Destruction of the Order ? From the other side, Why you're wrong ? That "Thing" that Start Everything is a philosophy controversial that many tried to explain in Theories. Why ? How ? etc... When i try to explain thing like this, I am trying to find pure answer and simple as one: Reason! And i write a song on that : "My Reasons". My body is breathing and opening the gate to the flower in the garden Why ? i am here now ? or is this just a dream Well, i know nothing was. And then it all began. barbieq25
Seerose thank you so much for the lovely comment. Doughty, what a gorgeous new sig! So polished. Here are some works for this month. I have not added the original photos for the manips. Too tedious & Imageshack is not playing nice PB is not a lot better. Southern Cross Tell me This is a rework of an earlier image. It was created in response to a work colleague needing a poster. I chose this one because learning brings us our of darkness, the tree is ageless knowledge & the Southern Cross watches over all of us down under. Luminosity This is a manip of a photo of a plant in my garden called a Burro's Tail. Honey Amber It has bee forever since I did anything like a jewel. Fish Tales Just because this one reminds me of a fish First Contact The name is a mystery - just felt that it was right for this one. Again heavy use of Jitter plugin. Diaphanous Reminds me of a book I read once about a red veil. Not sure that I really understood the book but some interesting concepts about the afterlife. Carnivale This one reminded me of a party or carnival. Jitter was my main inspiration for this piece. Alien Old Man's Beard plant that loves to grow in our garden. Laplacian Pyramid Filter & a few other plugins...Reminds me so much of HR Giger's Alien. 5 Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry.
