  1. Light and dark shades of gray + white is all you're going to need. That's all that is used in the tutorial I linked to.
  2. Two great images! Where to start.... NiteNurse79: It's a bit spooky (in a good way). Like an Escher I like the way it has this whole underground altered/distorted time theme. I can't help thinking - "what kind of a world has a clock like that?". I would like the hands to be less blurred at the extremities. Daniels: You been looking in my inbox? (TR and I have been collaborating on a plugin to make planets ). Unfortunately this means I'm going to be harsh - relatively speaking I think the clouds need work. They are too uniform IMHO. Neither do I feel they should overlap the planet edge. At this scale they should be clipped to the same edge. I AM liking your land texture though. Great job on that and the nebula. NiteNurse79 = 5 Daniels = 4
  3. It's a file type plugin Traci. That means it adds the ability to load (+ sometimes Save) new file formats. Once loaded, this plugin gives you the option to load an SVG file - you'll find this option listed in the Load File dialog. There is a drop-down list in the dialog which contains all the file extensions you can load. SVG should be among them if this plugin is installed correctly.
  4. Kelly, please post the screenshot. It will help remove many assumptions.
  5. Image menu has two options to rotate you image by 90 degrees (clockwise and anticlockwise). The keyboard shortcuts are Ctrl + H and Ctrl + G respectively. Saving the image will make the new rotation 'stick'.
  6. Because this feature has been removed in 4.0 you must reset the child windows by dragging them manually. Click and hold the title bar of any of the child windows to drag it to a new location.
  7. Ctrl + PrtScrn usually does the job. It takes a screenshot and places it in the clipboard. Press Ctrl + V to paste it into a Paint.NET layer. Please remember that tutorials should be undertaken when the subject is VERY well known and you're able to answer questions on it.
  8. Impressive skills Jaybeemz! Any of these selfies?
  9. Nicely done Xia! I've cleaned up the image tags for you. When posting large images, you can include just the URL, that way a clickable link is created. Welcome to the forum
  10. Yeah, he's back. But for how long with comments like this??? Nice to see you Red!
  11. You may have inadvertently dragged it off screen. Look closely at the screen edges to see if you can spot a thin border.
  12. http://searchpaint.net + glowing lines will give you links to TopHATslash's excellent tutorial -"How to: Wrapped Glow'y lines".
  13. I think you're looking for this plugin: Create Image Map. Note that the plugin creates HTML code. It does not embed the code 'into' the image. You'll have to add the generated code into your web page source.
  14. Hi and welcome carlssabotta! That particular effect needs to be run over an object (collection of pixels) on an otherwise transparent layer. DropShadow needs to find a transparent edge in order to have somewhere to place the shadow. If your image is one filled layer then DropShadow appears to do nothing when run.
  15. No apology necessary You are right to be cautious.
  16. The plugin was released 3+ years ago. If it was dangerous someone would have noticed by now. There have been 2208 downloads! I think you can assume that this is a false-positive by your spyware software.
  17. Also worthy of consideration if you're running 3.5.11 (not 4.0) is Channel Mask more options: ColorExchange Color Channel Mixer
  18. I'd recommend you do the editing offline & save a copy as a simple text file. Get the current source by following Sasha's directions. Toggle the button in the top left of the Full Editor until you see the formatting tags (enclosed in square brackets). Copy & paste this into a word processor and off you go....
  19. You're welcome TechnoRobbo! This is a great tool. Lots of possibilities!
  20. Radius Fill Corners resides in Effects > Fill. A submenu made for your plugin?
