  1. Correct. Building in 3.5.11 should be compatible with both 3.5.11 and 4.0.Building in 4.0 means the plugin will not work in 3.5.11
  2. Aha. Good answer. I must amend the Index accordingly.
  3. FF29 shows the Gallery view on the first click, the image alone on the second click. Can someone else please try this & confirm? http://i1146.photobucket.com/albums/o528/Cc4FuzzyHuggles/Creativity/AbstractCurlyLinesBasicLayers2_zps259e4c3b.jpg Link created with... 4. Confirmed. In 3.5.11 Left Mouse = opaque to transparent. Right Mouse = transparent to opaque. In 4.0.5226 Left AND Right = opaque to transparent. Also: You used to be able to swap the gradient direction by clicking on a nub. This doesn't work in 4.0.5226.
  5. The new build appears to be working fine in both 4.0.5226 and 3.5.11.
  6. Why not a new thread for these plugins BoltBait?
  7. List updated for 4.0.5226. Many plugins are now working thanks to Rick's hard work.
  8. Bug: Right clicking the color wheel always sets the Primary color (not Secondary as expected).
  9. Pixey, I use your method exactly when making new galleria posts. I'm sure the location of the image is not critical. Imgur or Photobucket - it shouldn't matter, because you're only using the URL
  10. Hi KT, welcome to the forum. I'm not sure if Paint.NET has a limit to the size of the font you can use. I wonder it the text is simply extending off the screen at that size? Does the cursor keep flashing for example?
  11. Ed did release a few effects in their own thread. In that respect the correct thread is used by the Plugin Index (the original from 2006). The Index does note that Color Tint is part of Ed's plugin pack and provides the correct link For clarification I've edited the old thread to correctly link to Ed's plugin pack (v3.5) and removed the old zip file.
  12. ?? Looks like the same link to me. Several of Ed's older packs have been flagged as "Superseded by a later release". Ed has not yet thrown his v4.0 pack into the public arena - which is why it doesn't appear (yet).
  13. They are REALLY specific. I use them because I built them and know what they do exactly. One of my effects, for example, can be done with the Panelling plugin. There's nothing in there that other plugins cannot achieve. Excepting of course two special plugins I'm collaborating on with TR and Red Ochre. These WILL be released - perhaps later this month.
  14. May Update Eight new plugins this month. I'm sure you'll find something interesting in this list of additions to the Plugin Index! AmigaIcon - @Connect 9600. Load and save Amiga (.info) files. To use, copy AmigaIcon.dll and AmigaIcon.palettes to the Paint.NET FileTypes folder. Fill From ClipBoard - @BoltBait. Fill a layer or selection using the contents of the clipboard. See post #6 in the linked thread. Fill From File - @BoltBait. Fill a layer or selection using an existing image. See post #6 in the linked thread. Slinky - @Red ochre. Render ellipses or circles along a line or curve... or in concentric circles. Named after the helical spring toy, this effect can be made to mimic. TR's KlumpNoiz - @TechnoRobbo. Groups generated "noise" together in clumps to create colorful, vaguely fractal patterns. TR's Paste Warp - @TechnoRobbo. Warps an image contained in the clipboard to fill any active selection. TR's Plasmatics - @TechnoRobbo. Recreate the 80's with this old fashioned Plasma Effect. Cool man, cool. Twainable+ - @null54. Allows Paint.NET to use 32-bit TWAIN drivers on a 64-bit OS. Place both files in the /Effects/ folder.
  15. This thread should not be in the tutorial section... <Moved to Paint.NET Discussion & Questions>
  16. BoltBait's Selection Tools, Drop Shadow, Align Object, and one or two of my own (unreleased) creations....
  17. I've suggested Drop Shadow in the past. I think it would make an excellent addition.
  18. Copyright symbol: You can place anything on a watermark. Copyright, author name, business name, etc..., Here's a how-to-guide: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/23427-custom-watermarks/ Batch processing: Scriptlab + Alivate bulk processor. See this thread....
  19. DLL attached to the first post in this thread.
  20. Looks broken to me. I'll see if I can upload a copy of the DLL later today.
  21. Just released http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/28298-trs-paste-warp/ It pastes the contents of the clipboard into your selection. Hint: make your selection circular! Should do the job nicely!
