  1. cool stuff welshblue! Plus thanks for the effort David. I appreciate it. Cool stuff here for sure. I feel like George Lucas or something--lol. I am stepping up from newb at least!
  2. Thanx David. Is there a tutorial you know of? I will try what you said but I unfortunately live up to my name when trying things on here.
  3. I was doing some laser shots and wanted to know how to make a line of color glow.
  4. I wanted to take some pix of myself in my boring backyard/ porch/ whatever what have you----and transport myself into other locations. I don't need a magician her, not talking about actual teleportation (although that would be awesome). Just talking about eliminating all the backround in original pix and dropping just myself into all kinds of other photos. Also, making myself say much smaller and dropping in anywhere in the new backround I see fit. I am sure at least some of this has been covered but I just can't find much yet with my short attention span. Please help me, please.
  5. those gold n silver rings you did were pretty cool
  6. thanx to himself from myself-efdd61 is magic and black and white from there creates a pretty good silver or "siver" from my hack spelling in the first post. Is there any quick and easy way to enhance with say another layer without getting into a bunch of additional plugins and steps?
  7. How can I use siver and gold colors. I have found something close to gold on the color wheel and use grey for silver. Just wanted to know a better or more precise way if possible?
  8. finally figured out what I was doing wrong just now, my light looks like the one in the sample, halleluJAH and props on a well written tutorial even though at first I wasn't crafty enough to follow the bread crumbs
  9. As soon as I make the black n white/ contrast adjustments to the duplicate layer it just takes over. The red is gone.
  10. good of you to jump in again Sarkut, I need all the help I can. When I do ur steps, I am left with only the white layer. I used straight lines insted of curved, but saving for that I thought I went step by step. Apparently not.
  11. thanks again for the help--I am starting to get it. I just need to stay patient with this project. Right now my imagination is outrunning my technical ability like a sports car would a dump truck. You helped bridge the gap a bit today.
  12. thank you-- the fault is almost certainly mine here but when I tried that the blur didn't seem to do anything and the glow just made the whole pic brighter. I was just looking to make 1 small line on the pic stand out and glow in the color I used with the brush. What am I doing wrong other than everything?
  13. I was wondering about a method by which I could draw using the paintbrush and have the color glow or shine. Does anyone know, and if you know, would you be a bro, and let Drew know?
  14. thanks for ur help-I just figured out layers a little better and ur answer makes perfect sense now. My editing may be a bit rough but at least there isn't clearly a book suddenly on the table holding up a character. You have helped my scenes progress from laughable to amateur. This is improvement!
