Rick Brewster
1. Open image2. Hit Ctrl+G (black & white) 3. Duplicate layer 4. Hit Ctrl+Shift+I (invert colors) 5. Change blend mode to Color Dodge 6. Gaussion blur around 5 (more or less depending on pic) Wow ... that would take like 5 seconds to code up a plugin for. I think I just found a feature for v3.02 8) What's the proper name for this effect? Here is the original tutorial on the concept: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1560 If you read through the thread, there is an option for colored pencil as well as the original black and white. usedHONDA
You should take the green out on the 9 ball using the Conditional Hue/Saturation effect. It would make it look a lot more realistic (I guess). usedHONDA
J2k: Nice. In the meantime, use my version of your current sig: I "made" it with a masking program [Recomposit]. I did it because I never noticed the lack of transparent pixels on it. I also messed around with the Levels a bit. Oh, and I made it smaller. I need to learn how to do that. @ Madjik: Did you use similar steps to the fire phoenix tut to make that horse? and whoever found the pop-out picture tut, you've given me a great reason not to do my homework

usedHONDA
Yeah, I'm leaning to #4 myself. The difference between 1 and 4 is that 4 uses transparent black and 1 uses a less transparent grey color. *done* "The greatest thing about the Internet is that you can write anything you want and give it a false source." ~Ezra Pound twtr | dA | tmblr | yt | fb
