  1. Make the selection using the ELLIPSE SELECT tool then run the blur, only the area inside the active selection will be blurred.
  2. Number 2 or 3 possibly leaning more towards 3 although if 2 had less squares I would choose that one
  3. No offense but this isn't a tutorial but a how to use tubelique plugin.
  4. Here's mine ( I managed to vastly shorten your tut though )
  5. As Helen said seamless, so much so I had to look twice to notice what you had done I can see you having fun with a pic of army ants
  6. Thanks Nanette I liked that one as well but my fav was the obsidian one. Just noticed you are from the Isle of Man how I envy you, do you watch the TT races every year?
  7. Thanks Welsh,Helen,Aislin,Barbie and Dug for the comments and taking the time to view. Here are my other logos for the logo of the week challenge no.5 ( took so long messing about with them that I forgot the deadline ) And at the very last moment came up with these 2
  8. I vote for NN on this one, qwertyuu's is too empty. NN - 2 Q - 0
  9. Oh well both recovery programs failed me found loads of pics that I had deleted months ago but the ones I were looking for were PDN files and neither found any of those
  10. Not sure if it fits here but thought I would post it, I call it Genesis.
  11. You could use part of the image as the border it can produce some great effects, think there was a tut about it somewhere. 1. On your image layer use the rectangle selection tool and select an area inside your image. 2. Use the white arrow ( move selection ) on the nubs of the selection and use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move it so that it is 10px smaller than your image all the way round. 3. Press ctrl+I to invert your selection then ctrl+C to copy it then open a new layer and press ctrl+V to paste it. 4. Double click on this layer to open the layer blending window and change the blending mode.
  12. Thanks Helen and Welshblue Didn't need to choose them they are the colours on my new mountain bike so thank GIANT for that made quite a few new sigs with the inspiration coming from my bike ( funny where it comes from sometimes ) sadly they were on my work comp in the same folder as my logo of the week entries and also got deleted by the numbskull at work am going to try a recovery program when I get in today, so fingers crossed. As for the logo of the week files I have redone them and to be honest I feel they are better than the originals, so not too angry with the numbskull although the sig work I'm not sure if I can even remember them all Largest work so far inspired by one of my logo's in the latest comp its in full HD but I don't think photobucket allows them to upload in that size. http://i1010.photobucket.com/albums/af227/minners71/genesisnoname.png
  13. Great work, simple yet stunning. Especially the 2 under your avatar as welsh posted a certain entry for the galleria for sure.
  14. Nice idea but remember you can't show the animation on printed works
  15. Well done to the winners particularly Yellowman with an outstanding piece of art, worth of entry to the galleria for sure.
  16. Nice logo but ( there's always a but ) why not add some colour to differentiate the letters e-m-o, at the moment it read more like l-e-a. The colours don't need to be bright maybe 3 different shades of brown or grey in keeping with the owl idea. Something like this.
  17. Wow this battle has ended at last...................................................Here's my entry now for another looooong wait.
