  1. Not sure if this is what you are after but, 1. Select inside your layer 3 outline with the magicwand tool 2. Now add a new layer 3. Now select gradient tool and the 2 colours you want and draw the gradient ( this will only show in the selected area ) 4. repeat from step 1 ( each new layer must be on top so that you can see the gradient )
  2. Congrats on your 100 posts, are you building a fence
  3. Guaranteed to brighten up everyones day
  4. Hi Phillees, pretty good for you first go may I suggest a helpful tip. Always work much bigger than you need so for example your finished image looks about 500x200 so make a canvas 4 times bigger 2000x800. When you are happy with your work flatten it and use gaussian blur at 2-3 px then resize your image by 25% this helps to smooth out any rough edges.
  5. I voted for 3 but its only showing one of my votes
  6. ^Looks like you got the basic concept down well done. Maybe you have resized the brick image bigger than it needs to be. Open up the project into PDN and make sure you have the layers window open, then press the PrtScrn ( Print Screen ) button on your keyboard. Open a new project ( it will automatically have the correct size ) and hit ctrl+v to paste the screen cap in and post it here.
  7. What can I say other than even I can mess up
  8. NMD - When doing render based sigs you really need to blend well, one reason I steer clear of doing them, so for this reason I am giving my point to NN79. NN79 - A bit bright for my liking but overall a clean job with no rough edges. NMD - 0 NN79 - 2
  9. Maybe we can be allowed more than one entry if the turn out remains low ?
  10. Are you using the same image as me for the bricks or using your own, maybe the size is too small look for a larger size picture.
  11. @NMD Yours is OK, the unofficial rule till I get time to redo them is that the sig must have some form of text included into it.
  12. Like I said, not gonna be a signature nazi on this one as the rules do not state that they must but I think after this one and when I get a bit of time I will redo the rules ( if that is OK ) to include that sigs must contain the forum ID of the member making them or of the person it is made for. As for the one you pointed out it was technically made for a gaming forum, gunslingers.com as a general publicity sig therefore the inclusion of "gunslingers" was the ID
  13. @Welshblue, your image does not include your forum ID therefore as I see it is not actually a signature I will let it slide this time ( unless you beat me then I may have to re-think my decision ) Personally I think you should of put forward your current sig its one of my all time favs Just to clear up for any other entries a signature must inculde your forum ID somewhere in the composition. @Doughty - after a few mental gymnastics to get my head round the idea it wasn't that hard
  14. Just tried out Welshblues way and it seems the simplist option. Draw a filled in square ( square works better than rectangle and bigger is best ) then use LAYERS>ROTATE AND ZOOM and use the ROLL/ROTATE function.
  15. NN79 - Crisp and clean with a great choice of colours. (My personal fav from you ) NMD - Good fire but name is too faint and don't like the black areas. Nitenurse79 - 3 NinjaManDan - 0 WINNER - Nitenurse79
  16. Here's mine. Stocks http://onlyhdwallpap...paper-61515.jpg http://tobiasmastgra...mmer_nights.jpg
  17. I have one to pst as well, did mine a bit differently though.
  18. Love the new signature/avatar combo very classy as is the living room ( wish I had the patience to try something like that ;( ) As for you glossies I think this forum needs a new award "Queen of gloss" I know who would get my vote
  19. Some great works Your photo manips are quite original and love some of your logo work, keep it up. ( 1 tip when making logos try and think what size you want it to end up ie; 400x150 make this your canvas size then go to IMAGE>RESIZE and go 400% then when you are happy with it gaussian blur at 2-3 px then resize to 25% everything will look a lot cleaner/sharper and you will eliminate most of the jaggies )
  20. Well done on your promotion, as soon as I can think of a subject I will PM you if not you may need to choose one
