Here is my first go. I did it a little different though once I had made by black squares and flattened the layers I used it as an alpha mask. <edited to put image back after organising my photobucket albums>

DL this plug in pack from DPY it includes th AA assistant plug in to get rid of rough edges, if this doesnt help try feathering at 2px then running AA assistant.If you did not do a good jod of cutting the image out neither may work well enough, try one of the alpha mask tutorials. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/16643-dpys-pack/

Was hoping someone could help me to do shadows this is a pic I did for my mum of her 2 dogs at the Grand Canyon. Hidden Content: The shadows I have done here were done by using the water reflection plug in and just cutting and pasting the reflection in after recolouring. Looks OK but is there another way?Also I blurred the bigger shadow but forgot to do the smaller one and left a bit of the original image in on the back of the bigger dog. Forgot to save the .pdn file

The only word I can think off that sums your work up is WOW!

Thanks Helen, found out how to do that by accident ( pics inside words ) but have since learnt to use an alpha mask makes it really simple. P.s I like your glossy balls LOL

Great tut thanks here is my first attempt. Combined it with yellowmans tut for 3D paper.

Thanks for the kind words but I feel I am still learning, need to get the hand of blending layers and using alphamasking before tackling larger projects.

Hi everyone this is my first post, I have tried to search for the answers but that itself brings another question. So question 1 there are various links in some tutorials to either images or plug ins but when I click on them I get redirected to another site or get an 404 server error msg. Second question is the search bar it seems very vague tried searching for the splinter plug in but found it no help am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for any help
