  1. I use it quite often also would love an update of at least 2 more nubs each side. sometimes I expand canvas quite a bit and rotate the image with the layer zoom 10, 20, 30 angles and have good results. make small movements and then rotate zoom picture back. It depends on the the picture though. You soon get the feel of what pictures will work that way and which not. All I can say is try to keep your movements small. run effect then run it again and again small measures, with the new bulge its a bit easier to combine the two for more curvaceous lines. ciao OMA
  2. well we all know I'm not too good on text here is my attempt somewhere along the line I got lost ( yet again,,,,) but think it came out not too bad
  3. we all have to start someplace. You've taken that big big step of putting your art out there. So I'd say you were well on your way to getting better at using this program. Keep trying the tut's not just once but several times each. Even if you don't like the finished project you will learn different techniques and blend modes etc etc. soon you will be wheeling right along with the rest of us. ciao OMA

@ZizOiz thank you for your nice comments. not sure what next project will be right now. Most of my abstract art comes from whichever book I'm currently reading, or movie I've just seen. The realistic things mainly from request from my grandkiddies. ciao

yes and that shows maturity in art doesn't go hand in hand with the number of years in your age. once again thanks for all your support. makes doing a difficult picture worth it. ciao
  7. @ ZizOiz Love it, love it, love it. good perspective and grout is spectacular. and the fade away in the background great! have you opened your own gallery in this pictorium yet. if not you should. welcome and look forward to viewing much more from you now that you've found your way here and joined us. ciao
  8. @Airick1994 great work!
  9. nice gallery, good choice of colors, I'll be checking in from time to time to see how you are progressing. good work so far, and I'm sure there will be even more fine pictures from you in the future. ciao

hey Lionhearted thanks. I know its not a subject most of the young boys find fascinating " a ballerina" oh that's just lame I'm sure most of them think . But the difficulty factor was extremely high on this one for me and its the challenge that was big deal to me. Doing people in realistic poses is not easy, to get color of skin correct isn't easy, and have a passable background isn't easy. On my own personal scale of difficulty I rate this one right up there near the top of all the work I've ever done. so thanks for the vote of confidence and your nice words. ciao
  11. oh yes! super! great and all the rest of those words rolled into one can not even begin to describe this latest one. wow!

finished ballerina 100% my own work its 90% Paint.Net . The ballerina I drew myself on paper with pencil, and scanned into the Paint.Net program. Considering I drew stick people just over a year ago I think she's pretty nice. The brush (twinkle stars) in the background is one I made myself. It can be found for a short time in the share your custom brushes thread. I also used the brush for her little crown, and the floor. if you scroll up the page you will see the work in progress shots. edit: had to fix the eyelids. she really wasn't looking at a decapatited pig off stage. Blooper that ones for you.....LOL! ""FINISHED"" click here ===>LARGER VERSION ON DA <=== click here
  13. lovely Jannetsue. I see you learned the thumbs. love them all!
  14. you might want to edit your first post to tell where it shows up under effects distorts or renders etc. (hint effects>tools) Found it to be innovative, I like your use of the additional screen similar to brushes. Tried it out, but since I'm not too up on pixel work I probably won't use too often, but I'm sure there are others that do more pixel work that will find this one interesting. ciao
  15. two words "plugin" "scriptlab" just load .c# file and push button build . dll. the hard part will be writing my own. now on I think the 10th time thru the 500 odd page C# book and understanding less than 1/2 of the things there. maybe by the time I read it thru 100 times it will sink in.
  16. Oh my goodness Topezia that is so hilarious. sorry my music from my soul made you Scream
  17. second request. this looks like dolly hair, new techniques and variations I always love to learn about. ciao
  18. love the new sig Jake! tips /tricks/tut? please.... :!:
  19. love the hammer only thing I can see that might fix it a bit is to move that hammer just a touch to the right if possible to strike that nail dead on the head. good job though nice and smooth gif. not jerky at all..
  20. @k.digennaro ... Rorschach test ? 8) quite the departure from your pixel people. good to see you expanding. You should check out the Tate on line, see some real fine examples of pop/abstract. Interpret a few of those, I'd love to see what you come up with. That's how I started learning about abstract art and get a lot of my inspiration re color and how shapes define emotions. here is one I've had on the back burner for awhile just couldn't figure out how to finish it until now. It's more pop than abstract but think it cross genre's well.
  21. @pyjo I'm truly interested in this skin texture and would love to learn how you did this. if you have a pdn I'd be interested in checking it out further. watch for your PM's ciao
  22. thanks ASH and everyone would you beleive it I actually was able to build the .dll and add to my effects menu. La ti da. Oma is on a roll.
  23. oh I'd love to know where you got that one. As I've tried them all I'm sure and haven't come across that one. could you check the properties on it and see when it was created. That might give me a clue where/when to search. ciao OMA
