MadJik
Frames Effect Plugin What's this? I know, there are some borders effects plug-ins already available. Fisherman's Friend
NICE THIS FRAME BEATS OTHERS! abc123qw, I'm neither a mod nor an admin, but I have to tell you that it is really dangerous on this forum to SHOUT. You are a member since june, and should know about this issue. I don't doubt the plugin is great.

Major
Wow. Nobody has posted about this plugin' for 8 years? At this time Paint.Net is at 4.0.21. I don't know if it's still an ongoing project. I've been using it for one year and no updates that I can remember. If you're still out there MadJik, Kudos to you. I love your frames. Thanks for your time and effort. I was using Paint Shop Pro until I had no choice to upgrade to Windows 10, and PSP 7 no longer works after Windows 7. Anyway, in that program you could select the borders to go 'over' your image (like yours do), or have the border butt up to the edge of the image, so that none of the image becomes hidden by the border. I was curios if it would be a chore for you to add that option to this plugin? Thanks again ?

I was curios if it would be a chore for you to add that option to this plugin? The canvas would need to be enlarged to accommodate the outset border, but plugins can't change the canvas size. You'll need to enlarge the canvas yourself, beforehand. Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
Eli
Hello @MadJik , I am having a little issue when creating frames. I had no problems with the blue one but when I made a long selection for the pink one It did not look right.
MadJik
@Major Thank you. If you mean to have a frame outside the picture with a white gap between, like this: You could draw a white frame first and another frame smaller. But they still overlay a part of the original image. The idea of @toe_head2001 is the only way to keep the image intact. @Eli this is an issue I added to my todo list. Thanks for the report (the only one in 10 years!) The frame works well with no selection (full canvas). Quote My DeviantArt | My Pictorium | My Plugins | Donate via Paypal
