  1. I'm glad you have started a gallery and looking forward to seeing more of your images! I like the abstracted purple apple best so far.
  2. The latest 3 look great Seerose! I particularly like the last one.
  3. U.I. looks good, results look good and thanks for the source code too. (I'll try and compile it to run on 3.5.11 )
  4. I am always in favour of a large choice of plugins even with outwardly similar results. Choice is good! I also regularly use Boltbait's plugins and look forward to the finished 'Inner shadow' plugin.
  5. http://i.imgur.com/0POzIXz.png 1. Grey text on new transparent layer. 2. Bevel Object on settings shown. 3. Overblur( Radius ~ 4, Overblur = 0, retain transparency = true). To soften the shadow edges. Bevel Objects works in a very different way to Boltbait's Bevel selection and can be very slow on large objects because it is literally measuring across the object. I made it like that to allow a large range of angles which would be tricky to do by using the Gaussian blur.
  6. The no overlap feature is great! Couldn't resist - "which button?"
  7. Downloading now - many thanks! This is a very useful plugin already.
  8. But real stars do overlap each other don't they? - perhaps there's some 'gravitational lensing' happening. Nevertheless, a 'no overlap' switch for TR's Custom Shape Filler could be useful for other things too.
  9. How unusual! All my Photobucket images on plugin threads (from before I switched to imgur) seem to be down too.
  10. I normally put noise on a transparent layer, duplicate the layer and zoom in with Rotate and zoom, and repeat. But have you tried TR's Custom Shape Filler for the closer stars/planets? http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=30002 Flowers but you get the idea!... http://i.imgur.com/8AndztW.png
  11. You're not kidding! - thanks for the link though and good luck.
  12. I like the colourful 'swirly' lines in the first one and very good results from the record tutorial!
  13. Thanks for this! Wish I knew more about html & mathjax... but that's down to me
  14. I think the request has changed since the first post? A sharp drop shadow is easily achieved as E.E.R. describes in post 10 - but the sharp corners described in post 1 would be difficult to achieve, as MJW says. I can't think of an easy method that doesn't involve cutting and repositioning corners on the shadow/outline layer. I also think a plugin would be fiendishly difficult. However the shapes do look similar to the shading patterns within the object in TR's Contour Filler algorithm - perhaps that could be a start? Squared off corners could be done but sharp corners at odd angles would be tricky in my opinion.
  15. Some stunning new works! - I can't tell what is photo manipulation and what has been generated from scratch. Love the colour combinations, particularly in the 3rd and 5th ones.
  16. Congrats Eli - cool image literally! Good work from all entrants and very smoothly hosted Pixey!
  17. Ooo ... a hover bike! I dream about those, the under-steer could be a problem though! Very neat manipulation.
  18. The D.P.I. is changed via the Resize dialogue. The selection can be made to a fixed ratio or fixed size in pixels, cm or inches and the top left corner co-ordinates of the rectangle are shown. Then crop to selection. Plugins are not allowed to change the selection or resolution. I did make a plugin to help with composition and cropping which may or may not help here. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/22810-composition-tool/ Personally, I find Pdn much easier to use than Photoshop elements and more powerful in some areas too.
  19. Great start to your gallery racerx! You use perspective well in the movement of the stars, snow and leaves - really adds depth to the animations.
  20. Looks good! - I like the way it is travelling through space. You should start a gallery in the Pictorium thread. Thanks for the links to the animation software too - have'nt tried it yet (no time )
  21. Congrats to Eli, Seerose and Pixey! Well done DrewDale and Nitenurse too. Thanks to Chimay. Yes it was a hard topic (sorry ) - but you still produced a good variety of sigs.
  22. That's amazing! - very skillful. It is very satisfying to see my plugin being used to such good effect. Thank you!
  23. That's an excellent animation, the teeth mesh perfectly! Thanks for posting it racerx and welcome to the forum.
