  1. To my knowledge there isn't a plugin which will do what you want. You could see if this one is any use spritesheet animation
  2. Suggestion #2 might work. I'm not sure that sort of fine control of tool tips is possible.
  3. Glad to hear it. Oh, and I omitted to welcome you to the forum Galaxyy!
  4. The flashing is a tool tip conflict. It only happens at the very bottom of a long menu. See post #14 in the link below Makes it hard to select the plugin doesn't it? There is no remedy I know of - except for reducing the number of plugins! Ref: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/27797-cannot-select-last-visible-plugin-in-stuffed-menu/
  5. I don't recommend using CCleaner. To uninstall use either the built in add/remove or this tool http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/108905-cantt-install-paintnet-again/?p=517136
  6. Peacock has been promoted to the Galleria. Congratulations Lynxster!
  7. ^ I didn't think of that. Neat! I did think of this plugin: Multi Color Gradient. Think it will do the job.
  8. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the the file location. Right click on the file and choose Rename from the context sensitive menu. Click between the period and the letter g in the filename. Type in the letter A. Press Enter to commit the change.
  9. This seems completely unrelated to paint.net. <locked>
  10. Right click on the gif and rename the extension to agif. Open that with paint.net.
  11. Added zipped DLL & restored the images. Many thanks to @ReMake for his assistance!
  12. Nice Eli! +1 Tips on how to include your watermark in an image http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/32466-what-is-the-watermark-plugin-called/?p=433017
  13. Thanks for the inquiry cashpat. My book will be the same price however you purchase it. If you can use Amazon I recommend doing so. The ebook is nearly four years old and was written for paint.net 3.5. Many new features have been introduced in paint.net 4, however the core aspects remain consistent between the two. If you know one version you should have no problem applying your knowledge to the other.
  14. Hey TTony - welcome to the forum I'm splitting your question from the thread you posted in and putting it into it's own thread. First thing to try is a reboot. Sometimes .NET requires this for some reason. If you fit this scenario the installation might simply be hung up.
  15. Wrong place, see http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/14175-this-is-not-a-plugin-requests-forum/ That's Ok - I'll move it for you. You're right. Plugins must conform to a set of rules. I'm not sure that an auto-increment in the filename is do-able. How about this workaround: Ctrl + A (select all) Ctrl + Shift + C (copy merged = copy all visible layer) Ctrl + Alt + V (paste into new image) Then Save or Save As... The reason I'm advocating this technique is that the new image would be a single layer. No flattening or undo required, and you can simply close the new image when saved to continue editing the master copy. Edit: beaten by Rick.
  16. This thread is ten years old Joe. Around here that's a good reason to let it die. If you wish to restart a conversation please just start a new thread. Thanks <locked>
  17. ^ True of Effect or Adjustment plugins. As for it being 'easy'. Yeah. Sure it is. Let us know when it's ready 'k?
  18. Hello Jay - welcome to the forum! Active layer = working layer The active layer is the one highlighted in the layers window. As only one layer can be active at a time, selecting a different layer shifts the active focus to the new layer. See http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/WorkingWithLayers.html
  19. Remember that with paint.net 4+ you get the option of anti-aliasing a selection with the Selection clipping mode in the Tool Bar.
