  1. It's easier to do this sort of thing manually. Here's how http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/32466-what-is-the-watermark-plugin-called/?p=433017
  2. All of them Different techniques work for different artists. Find an artist you admire and analyze their images. Don't just look at them in admiration, scrutinize little sections and see if you can identify the individual elements, layers & techniques that were used to compose that area. A little tip: Most of the artists I admire use gradients extensively. There is almost never a flat region of a single color. Take a look at OnSetRenderInfo above (http://imgur.com/3gSPqC2). This wonderful image uses a glorious array of gradients to create texture and lighting effects.
  3. <moved to paint.net Discussion & Questions>
  4. Documentation covering the Color Window will help explain all: http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/ColorsWindow.html
  5. Plugins cannot alter the placement of other plugins in the menu system. I believe there are one or two plugins which can be relocated in this way - it is not the norm. Your best bet for bookmarking your favorite plugins is the Plugin Browser (link in my signature). RE: 3.5 - I'm not sure if BoltBait is still supporting PDN 3.5.
  6. Not sure why this topic has ended up in the Pictorium. I'll move it to paint.net Discussion & Questions.
  7. Hi Jake, welcome to the forum. Can you describe the actions you are performing which lead to this error? Are you using a particular plugin or tool for example?
  8. Perhaps you could make yourself a custom Shape with ShapeMaker?
  9. June Update Three new plugins this month. Enjoy Hot Metal Glow - @MJW. Transforms a pixel's color to mimic incandescent heated metal. The color range goes from black, to red, to orange, to yellow, and finally to white. The color transition is approximate: no attempt is made to imitate actual physics. Postage Stamp - @toe_head2001. Creates an edge like a modern postage stamp (i.e. wave like perforations) around the image. StickMan - @Ego Eram Reputo. A plugin which helps position & pose predefined stick figures using a simple click-n-drag interface.
  10. @Red ochre's Squirkle plugin will create rather nice rounded rectangles. Play with the Exponent setting to round or square the corners.

  12. Hey Kwenio - welcome to the forum Easiest solution: put the bold text on it's own layer, separate from the rest of the text. You may need to add spaces to the other lines of text to keep the spacing correct.
  13. To my knowledge there isn't a plugin which will do what you want. You could see if this one is any use spritesheet animation
  14. Suggestion #2 might work. I'm not sure that sort of fine control of tool tips is possible.
  15. Glad to hear it. Oh, and I omitted to welcome you to the forum Galaxyy!
  16. The flashing is a tool tip conflict. It only happens at the very bottom of a long menu. See post #14 in the link below Makes it hard to select the plugin doesn't it? There is no remedy I know of - except for reducing the number of plugins! Ref: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/27797-cannot-select-last-visible-plugin-in-stuffed-menu/
  17. I don't recommend using CCleaner. To uninstall use either the built in add/remove or this tool http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/108905-cantt-install-paintnet-again/?p=517136
  18. Peacock has been promoted to the Galleria. Congratulations Lynxster!
  19. ^ I didn't think of that. Neat! I did think of this plugin: Multi Color Gradient. Think it will do the job.
  20. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the the file location. Right click on the file and choose Rename from the context sensitive menu. Click between the period and the letter g in the filename. Type in the letter A. Press Enter to commit the change.
  21. This seems completely unrelated to paint.net. <locked>
