thanks to all who answered I didn't even consider a toggle for the on and off option box. nice one pyro. look forward to the finished version. to others: until the color issue is fixed there is a small workaround I'm using. as long as you do not touch the wee black color box everything else works fine. I do my splatters in black and use Ed harveys color flip for now if you work with it and all our other plugins you can get the color you want. .

thanks Ash I managed tofigured that out , it works ok for regular rectangular/square shapes. but need to do odd shapes within a set pattern. I could just do a close pattern required and size down and cut and paste to the shape I suppose but its not quite as accurate as what I'd ideally wish for. will work in a pinch, . OMA

received this error after updating to the new 3.3 beta it pertains to the old version drop shadow so does this mean that one is not going to be updated any longer. must I download a newer one? thanks OMA PS I used that old one just about once a day and loved it!! PSS I'm a grandmother and definietly not a programer so speak common english to me please. I only need the drop shadow not all 12 of the other stuff mentioned in this plugin effect section. Question: when you change options size splatter swing etc. how do you close that option box so I can see entire screen. Question2: can I just do a selection portion (the marching ants) and see that selection on screen somehow. so I know what I want will be within that portion and not as a draw and hope? I'm working on correct portion of screen? perhaps that can be done already but I didn't quite figure it out.

that photo looks like it might need a bit of under photo the effect called "film". its sort of scratchy looking as far as I can make out.

I'm missing it as well pyro. and the three sections could you explain that for me. pallett, named colors i think I understand but what is that third one system for?

definetly a keeper plugin. like especially the ability to enter hex code values for colors on the pallett. it will most likely replace my use of hue saturation. and love the transparency. aspect. changed this picture on left to picture on right in just a couple of steps. cut out the polar at the top and used plugin on just the selected image added the maze underneath layer to check how opaci it was and just a bulge to show distortion. very good A+ for ease of use from a non programer point of use application. .

I know i don't have to use it. I just wanted to know why you all felt you needed it.. :wink:
