@OhGod I would think that after reinstalling Windows, you would have about a weeks worth of updates to install before you reached the point you were at before the call to Microsoft. Keep checking for updates even though Microsoft might say you are up to date.

@Jacobs For step 3 of @Pixey's directions, I used Object Align (Center) on each layer. What I didn't do was fill the surrounding transparency with the white because I'm not supposed to do the work for you. The reason I posted the GIF was to show you the import from file worked correctly.

Have a closer look at the active and visible layer. Remember Paint.Net can only edit the current layer. By default the first layer is selected but the second last layer is visible. I was surprised that the "import from file" for an AGIF actually worked.

Wherever did you get that idea?

@LoudSilence You are missing the IMAGif.DLC file Go back to the .ZIP file and extract it to the Filetypes folder

Hi @LoudSilence Can you provide a screenshot of your filetypes folder showing the IMAgif files? That should help identifying the problem. Ensure the folder is sorted alphabetically.

@robloxkid928z My attempt using Cuboids You need to be a bit creative with the starting pattern before you run cuboids. Background and foreground layers added to enhance.

@DoubleD I tried creating a GIF with your transition codes to no avail. Can you reduce your gif to 4 or 5 layers and show us what you are seeing?

@DoubleD Are you saving the file as AGIF or GIF? Saving as GIF supports transparency as long as all your layers are transparent. Here's an example I made a few years ago

Hi @TylerYoshi If you are referring to the "Color Picker" tool have you checked your settings? Set it to switch to pencil. It may be operating correctly. Are you running any other keybinding software?

Hi @Pixey No - It was this thread I tried to post to I just tried CustomBrushesMini and it is working fine now. What I think happened was I was flipping between the two brush factories without restarting Paint.Net and I lost the menu screen (top row) from CustomBrushMini.

It appears the CustomBrushMini plugin is no longer functional in 4.2.14 and I doubt @Simon Brown will return. Also, could not post this message to the plugins thread (Page 11)

Hi @The Brougham Gamer I see you got your information from reading this thread You need to read the entire thread and try to follow the instructions carefully. To call it an Airbrush is incorrect. It is a custom brush that can be loaded once you have this plugin installed Keep in mind that the "airbrush" is actually a PNG file that is loaded into the plugin that resembles an airbrush. Hope this helps

@Pixey You are not alone. This appears to be a known Win10 issue that remains unresolved. It just happened to me and it wasn't the first time. It has been awhile since the last one. It occurs randomly and has nothing to do with Paint.Net. It happened to me while running Google Chrome as well. Have patience and always expect a crash to occur at anytime. Save work regularly and treat it as a potential event every time you use your computer, They are not bulletproof. Now might be a good time to ask for a dark theme. What I have seen over the past few months; Windows adopted a dark theme Paint.Net adopted a dark theme Using Google Chrome UTube just adopted a dark theme this past week The only time my screen brightens up now is when I open the forum. Can the forum software adopt the settings from Windows dark theme or does a whole new Dark Theme need to be created? Thanks in advance for your attention
