Image Umbrella: Signatures, Avatars, Logos & Text

Recommended Posts

Normally, the sigs I make are rather dark and monotone. So I decided to go all out this time. After all, the most important thing about Christmas is the birth of Christ, but the second most important is stuffing your face with sweets until you have cavities in every tooth, and then some.

I like the texture.

100% Paint.net. Original sword is 1800x400 or something along the lines. Took around two hours. Not as good as it could be if I was at home on my desktop rather then on a laptop without a mouse(finger thing only).

Nice job, but to make the metal seem glossy, reflect the text onto the blade.

Is this logo good in your opinion?

I noticed just afterwards that it looks a little lick a stick figure. :(

That's precisely why I don't think it's a good logo. Logo for what?

Thanks! I had help, though. :)

Hmmm. dramatic lighting that really draws attention to the focal point, but the eye just stays there, doesn't really move, though. I'm not sure if this is good or a bad thing with sigs...

It's kind of odd. The blue blurred C4D at the front is VERY distracting.

Look at that^. Also keep in mind your text should be near your focal; text in the corner is a no-no.

Thank you, I didn't know where to put it, so I put it over there. I'm fixing it right now, thanks for your advice :)

Duplicate the flatten image then set it to B&W an play with blend modes. That should make it look really cool. :P

What do you guys think about this one:

Ooh man - I dunno about this one. It's very different - color wise... like you stuck the picture in the sun for too long.

Besides the colors though, it looks good
