  1. Right after the forum update, the response time was the same. But it is true, that in the last two weeks, or so, the forum has become annoyingly slow. I don’t think it is Ricks doing, but the forum host is to blame.
  2. I hate to bee the bringer of bad news, but you have posted this in the wrong part of the forum. You can expect this tread to be moved or deleted.
  3. Hmm. Not a bad idea for pictures and drawings you want to print. Thanks MadJik.
  4. This tells you about installing plugins. http://boltbait.googlepages.com/install Use search for more information.
  5. I just tried it. Looks like it could bee useful if you want to make something look like scan lines from a TV. Nice work.
  6. Nice effect, thank you. Working well. But, OK, it is NOT super fast.
  7. You could make your Templates as a set of normal PDN file and then open them, when you need them and save as another filename. But maybe some predefined picture seizes would bee a good idea. Worth discussing. But hardly worth a pool.

  9. I just downloaded the zip file: Shape3D_1_2_6_0.zip. In the zip file there is file called: Shape3D.dll. I get that in Windows XP’s own extract program. If you don’t get a dll, try some other unzip program.
  10. It all depends on what kind of background you want. I suggest you look at some of the treads in the tutorial section. There is a bunch of cool stuff there. Many things that can be used as a background.
  11. The links in the help menu in paint.NET, still leads to the old forum. Can the redirects bee fixed?
  12. I like the idea, but it might not bee ideal if you use the Bézier curve.
  13. First, change the title of this tread to something more describing about your question. There is actually a rule about that. In fact the rules is a good read.
  14. Thanks usedHONDA. And I do se the benefits of the community. I think the community in this forum is an important part of the development of paint.NET. Just look at the plugins section.
  15. I tent to see this forum as a part of the documentation for paint.NET. And the pictorium is for discussing how to use the program. If you want to show your work to a wider audience, Deviant Art is a great place to go.
  16. Definitely the simplicity. And the way everything seams to bee in the place where you expect it to bee. The user interface is really great. But paint.NET is still quite powerful. And most of the features I do miss are already in the popular requests tread, so let’s not talk more about that.
  17. Hmm. Start by making the canvas, the size you need. Then put each picture in a separate layer. Then you can move them around and arrange them the way you want by using the select tools. This plug-in might come in handy: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2498 When finished, flatten the image.
  18. Yes, it is important to maintain some simplicity. I believe a line with six or seven knots would be pretty complicated to handle. I would rather have a feature that made it possible to continue the line you have just made. That is: Make a line. And then, when you make the next line, by holding down a hotkey, it automatically starts where the last ended. Maybe with some kind of optional lock on the angle it starts in. Just my two pennies worth.
  19. You ought to find this. http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2492 The entire tread is good reading, but the first post is the most important. Make a series of pictures with increasing amount of jitter, and use unfreeze to make it animated.
  20. http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewt ... hlight=iso
  21. I am sure Rick will do all he can to make a new version available before the beta expires.
  22. Wow. I have to use some time to figure out all those controls. But this really dose the job very well. Thank you for making this plug-in.
