Thank you @Pixey! I used light colors with the paintbrush and all 'color' layers were set to Multiply or Color Burn. Lots of Eraser, too... 😆

Congrats to @Djisves and @Ego Eram Reputo for your wins! Thank you to everyone who voted for mine.
I thought all the entries were inspired. Each sorceress was unique in her own way by the artist. Wonderful job to everyone.

Which is what it was modeled after, Welshy. Thank you.
@LoudSilence, @LionsDragon and @ReMake, also, thank you for the reps! Take care, everyone.

New Image! Was playing around with the new ShapeMaker release and came up with this after coloring.
This looks like a suncatcher to me. Enjoy!

@Pghninja Welcome to the forum. Try this plugin and play with the sliders. Tone Gradient Magnitude.
I'm sure you'll find a setting that meets your needs. It's very versatile.

The theme this week is – "Haunted Halloween"
Chosen by ( @Maggie 2nd place SOTW #227 winner)
This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look like ‘Haunted Halloween’.
Examples can be viewed here.
The deadline for entries is 2:00 pm (EST) 7:00 pm (UK time) on Saturday, October 31st, 2020.
To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time
Competition Rules
Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature.
Please keep your signature family-friendly.
Please keep to the theme that has been set.
You may modify or replace your image until the deadline!
Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous.
Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work.
There are three entries per entrant allowed.
Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based
on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery.
Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical.
The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering.
Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past.
Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme.
This thread is for posting your entries only.
If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here. -
Congratulations to the winners!

@DoubleD You don't get the same result because you have each letter on it's own layer.
In order for it to be the same as 'Test-old', frame 2 will have the 'T', frame 3 must contain 'Te", frame 4 must contain 'Tes', and frame 5 must contain 'Test'.
Then you get the even flow of letters.

@Pixey All the commands, transitions, etc...are located in his Read-Me file in the download.
Hope this helps.

Love this, too.
I used new ShapeMaker all last weekend and didn't run into any problems.
Thank you, toe, for all of your hard word in updating ShapeMaker! 😊
Thank you to @Ego Eram Reputo for updating the User Manual. I re-read the whole thing....riveting... 😊
-
@DBME Graphics....you could also do this:
add new layer, set blending mode to Color Dodge, select color 160,160,160, select paint brush - hardness 0% at about 150 to 200 px and simply highlight your areas.
You can then adjust the opacity for the brightness you desire.

Thanks @Pixey. Ignore my reply to your PM...I hadn't read this thread yet.
I'll re-size when I get home from work.

This was a lot more work than I originally thought. The model was a little 'borked' so I made my own interpretations.
Also left it at the saved image size. Can't wait to see what others do.

Congrats to @welshblue, @MJW and @Djisves.
All entries were so realistic, I wanted to play a few hands....
Thank you for hosting @Pixey!

@ipswichmanc Both those examples are fabulous! You did a great job.
As for the Edgeshader plugin, you may be using Red's original one. Go to first post and click on EdgeshaderMJW for the latest version.
MJW helped Red refine the original one. This one will not overwrite the original and it is found in the 'Advanced' menu.
This version was never officially 'published' in the plugins thread.
Thank you for trying the tutorial!![:rainbow: :rainbow:](//content.invisioncic.com/r125076/emoticons/pdn4icons_fugue.rainbow.png)
