Spacescapes: 100% Paint.NET, save the photograph, which is from sxc.hu. Note that terrain in these last two pieces was rendered in Terragen, and minor brushwork was added in the GIMP. The first spacescape (millennia) is 100% PDN aside from the photograph, the other two have terrain rendered by myself in Terragen, and some minor brushwork applied in the GIMP.
