  2. Off and on for two years. Most of my images are actually on my deviantArt profile. (Just recently transferring to my own website so I can make some money ) EDIT: I've actually been a member of PDN forums since '07.
  3. Thank you for the prompt informative reply. I'm sorry I did not see that. However, I did not mean to replace Paint, but merely be added into Windows along with paint, is that answer still applicable? If so, please lock. Thanks for your understanding.
  4. I searched for this but found nothing, so please forgive me if this has already been asked (if that is the case, please lock and post a link for me). Is there any chance that PDN will get integrated with Windows (I.e. regular Paint AND PDN included in default Windows 7/Vista installations) After all, this was mentored by Microsoft wasn't it?
  5. Anyways, here's some of my recent desktop artwork. They are all pretty similar but in different colors: Click on them for the full high-res view at my deviantart gallery --> http://pluberus.deviantart.com
  6. Love the flames Negrumir. I love fire. xD Very nice football bg RedFalcon. Anyways, here's some of my recent desktop artwork. They are all pretty similar but in different colors: Click on them for the full high-res view at my deviantart gallery --> http://pluberus.deviantart.com
  7. It's on the toolbar. Sweet thanks. I didn't see it. Another quick ?, is it unlimited redo or just one time?
  8. I have a quick question about the custom brushes plugin. Is there any way to keep the Custom Brushes plugin from refreshing every time I open it? It takes such a long time. Also, is there no undo function? I hate closing and reopening the plugin every time I make a mistake.
  9. I have a quick question about the custom brushes plugin. Is there any way to keep the Custom Brushes plugin from refreshing every time I open it? It takes such a long time. Anyways, great job on the plugin Sabrown, its extremely useful minus the long loading time. ^^
  10. Pretty cool. I've been looking for new sig background textures. Thanks for posting this.
  11. I think the color scheme is very good for that sig. The grays/whites/blues go really good.
  12. My Newest Sig: It's supposed to be a dynamic sig for Combat Arms. I haven't figured out the dynamic part though. ^^ Hehe @pipp: Good sig - I like it, but maybe brighten/increase contrast just a bit?
  13. @JLC Pretty good. I recommend using noise for the stars. Just remove color saturation and adjust the density. @Commander Sozo I really like it. Definitely goes with the olive themes. Here's my desktop image. I called it Abstract Blue Flames. Was very simple, but turned out to be a good desktop background. (I think it did anyways. ) (Clickable Thumbnail)
  14. I really like the blue one. The other one is ok, but blue is a better color.
  15. You're right. Any better? I thought less spiders would be better also. That's a great photo-manipulation. I like it. But it looks like the spider is squashed on the pool and is floating.
  16. Excellent guide! Thanks for posting this awesome tut.
  17. Wow this is really good - some of this info is going into my research paper for the Graphics Art/Design I'm doing as an independent study.
  18. And remember, patience is key when cutting out images. It takes time, but usually ends better.

  20. Ah, ok. Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll just experiment.
  21. Hello, I've been using Paint.NET for a while and I've downloaded Sabrown's brushes plugin. I know many GIMP users use brushes for their sig backgrounds and stuff, but I don't really know how to use brushes. Does anyone have a simple tutorial/link that could direct me in the right direction? I understand how the brush tutorial plugin works, I just don't know how to incorporate brushes into artwork. Thanks in advance!
