TR's & EER's Drum Skin v1.3 (Mar 27, 2014)
Ego Eram Reputo replied to TechnoRobbo's topic in Plugins - Publishing ONLY!
I tawt I taw a puddy tat! Just to be clear, rectangular image become ellipsoid, and square become circular. Cool name for the plugin! -
Try lowering the opacity even more. There a number of packs pinned in the Plugin Pack section of the forum. These are considered highly among the members of the forum. You can't really go wrong downloading a handful of these packs. Which are the most useful? It's the plugin which does the next job on your list No. There was the embryo if a linux conversion long ago. I believe that this has fallen by the wayside. There might be an emulator which might do the job - you're best asking in a Linux forum.

Programmable operations on extra mouse keys
Ego Eram Reputo replied to SAND33P's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
I'm not sure what you mean by 'non standard'? Plugins cannot have their own assigned shortcut. It's not able to be specified from within the plugin. You are able to run a plugin using keystrokes which open and drill down the menu system. Would that work for you? -
There is not much point leaving this thread open without the images it was founded on. Shame really. <locked>

Color Palettes go here
Ego Eram Reputo replied to usedHONDA's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Metal would use many of the same shades as stone. The trick with metal is to give it the illusion of lighting to make it appear glossy. See this excellent tutorial: Welshy's Chain Links. Notice that the finished article has a grey palette? Yet it looks shiny. Clever eh? -
Programmable operations on extra mouse keys
Ego Eram Reputo replied to SAND33P's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Not a plugin - they MUST play nicely with Paint.NET. Hooking into the system this way would not be appropriate for a plugin. 3rd party? It may be possible to map an extra mouse button to a keyboard shortcut. I recommend you do a bit more research on this idea. -
Your 'stripes' are the difference between the image size * view/zoom factor and the size of the editing window. Your image top left corner is placed at 0,0 according to the rulers. Try increasing the view size of your image. This will make the image fill more of the editing window. Please post a screenshot if I have interpreted your question incorrectly.

Don't know. It's a ZIP file and it appears to download just fine?

TRs Displacement Map 3D Version 2.1
Ego Eram Reputo replied to TechnoRobbo's topic in Plugins - Publishing ONLY!
@ Pixey: Hover over the plugin title in the menu and a tool tip will appear telling you the plugin details (if they exist). A lot of modern plugins will give you the DLL name and the author. -

Tutorials for credit cards
Ego Eram Reputo replied to chinarich's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Thanks Drew. I really wish Welshy would tell us how he did the embossed text on his cards. I had a really quick go and and failed badly -
[beaten by 'Noob - but I will post it anyway...] Nope. Think about it. What if you wanted to add three more characters? 18x18 would be too small. In Paint.NET each layer is the same size as the image. This means we can place an element in a layer and move it around within the layer. We often describe layers as acetate sheets. Stacked together they form the image. It makes sense to have all these 'sheets' the same size.

Ego Eram Reputo replied to davesocal's topic in Preview Center
I suspect this is a system crash and not related to Paint.NET - except that is happened to be running when the system went down. -

How to make text into a circle?
Ego Eram Reputo replied to Kitty Soules's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
I wondered if a plugin like Lens or the Bulge effect might help here? I'm not at a PC right now so can't check this idea out... -
Can't install Plugins!
Ego Eram Reputo replied to livinglikelarry's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
That's good news! Welcome to the forum -
One layer. This step is to create background star field. This will be resized and pasted into a second layer in the first image. Press Ctrl + A to select all the layer then Ctrl + C to copy it to the clipboard. You can also do this via the menus. Go back to the first image and create a new layer. Ctrl + V pastes the clipboard into this new layer. From there you flatten and continue. Good luck!
