pyjo Posted December 17, 2007 Share Posted December 17, 2007 Perhaps it doesn't worth a tutorial. Start with something like this: Apply Shape3d with half sphere map and a little vertical radius. Then play with various light settings. Finally create the other half by using a simpler texture. If you know in advance which color you will use for the environment you can include it in the texture. I choosed the color only at the end of the work... so my picture it is not so good. Bye Pyjo. Note: this is NOT a tutorial. Please don't blame me for having posted this message in the wrong place. The lines of the brush are too smooth when set right next to the splattered "B", making it look a little out of place. (image) I did this without any plugin. I duplicated the layer and applied motion blur with different angles, then faded with gradient in transparency mode. (img) Bye, Pyjo yes, motion blur can definitely help sometimes. i used it with aurora effect before. but nobody seemed to care about that topic anymore since. Personally, I would change the angle (if you can) so that more of the face is visible. A nice background and shadow (and possibly a reflection, depending on the 'situation') always help it come together too.
