barbieq25
I like the first one a lot. I love the texture & the way the colours swirl. The second one reminds me of tapestry. Very cool. Xhin
Thank you, welsh, barbie and sharp! I've (finally) been playing around with some paint.net plugins. Some of them are extremely useful. barbieq25
A great bunch of lovely abstracts! In some places they are a bit scratchy/jaggy. If you work on a canvas 4 times the finished size & then reduce the fianl, you will overcome this problem & your work will look even more polished. I really love the way you've achieved a glassy, translucent feel to your images. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. Moninca
Earth Jewel is my favorite. Nice job. I can never get those kind of results when I do abstracts. My mind works in symetry (sp?), so abstracts are kind of difficult. Nice work. ^_^ Quote My Gallery
Xhin
I haven't updated my gallery in a long time, nor have I made any art for the last couple months (though I started again yesterday with gen 29). It took me a long time to sort out all the stuff I made. The "Generation" label is kind of useless now, so I might switch to a style-based gallery soon (since I keep revisiting really good styles, and it really describes my collective body of work better). Anyway, here's me doubling the amount of generations that were here before (I'm sure I've posted some of this before, but I missed a couple ones): These aren't necessarily in chronological order (although the generations are at least), and I stopped naming them at some point, so in those cases I give a generation number, followed by the number of unnamed ones, like "16-1". I'd like to fix those issues at some point, but it's not a priority. delpart
Too many to comment on. Excellent body of work though. Great use of the kaleidoscopes and some wonderful blending here and there. Not sure on the improvements to the charcoals, but that is something you have to be careful with else you destroy the original hand in them. Thanks for taking the time to share them up. Xhin
Thank you, delpart! New ones from today: I *really* like this style. Very easy (takes about ten minutes per piece, most of that figuring out how to make them varied), diverse (one good thing about using effects that have "randomize"), and colorful without sucking. I might make a tutorial at some point. Edited February 27, 2012 by Xhin
dex477
I am in awe... I believe you have single-handedly convinced me that abstract graphic art is... beautiful Your latest work is possibly my personal favorite too i like the soft background colors, and i like #2 and #4 the best simply because they are asymmetrical. It's all amazing. you should definitely make a tutorial (although you might have made one by now).

Xhin
Bit of an update here. At some point in 2012 I rebranded, moved everything to a facebook page, sorted my art by style rather than date, and also that was 2 years ago so a lot has changed since then. I'll probably re-organize my page at some point, but in the meantime I'm just going to post my art here again. My art now is a combination of abstract, surreal, and highly psychedelic/geometric styles. skullbonz
Delusion is real cool. If you move it up and down a little with the slider on the right, it moves. HELEN
Your abstracts are incredible!
