HELEN
Such an amazing idea! The cuteness factor is a 10 out of 10. The wooden texture in the background is fabulous. I always like your ideas. barbieq25
Skullbonz, what a great image! I saw something similar & thought the same thing but just never got around to doing it. I love the colours of the stones you used. Super! This is the makings of a great tute. The stone texture could be done using Chad's concrete tute & I am sure Welshy has a wood tute. It would be a great way of getting less experienced/adventurous pdners to create a solid piece whilst learning a whole lot more about PDN & ways of working. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. Xzerizon
I know I'm a little late, but congratulations on making it to the Galleria! Your latest piece is nice, realistic. I like it very much. Almost photorealistic, in fact. [thumbs-up] Quote 'Civil disobedience is still disobedience.' skullbonz
Thank you Drydareelin I just added a few more space pictures. The first one called Crazy Diamond is one I made for a background in the beginning of a video I am making for my brother-in-law's band who uses the name Crazy Diamond and play Pink Floyd music. The others are just doodling, lol. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery-update-april-11th-space/page-1 Edited April 11, 2013 by skullbonz Quote http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery
barbieq25
Love the Bleeding Colours one. Candy bar looks cool & I like the way it looks like the wrapper is undoing itself. Coins looks good too Just love the Crazy Diamond one! Lots of elements that are working together. Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. HELEN
You should've warned me at least that these spacescapes are exploding with so much color and amazingness! Wow! The third one to the right with the blue nebula galaxy-type thing is superb. I want to jump in there to see what will happen. Top-notch work from you yet once again. A great collection of images! HELEN
This has got to be one of the coolest rooms (and biggest rooms) I've seen inside a spaceship. Absolutely fantastic! Makes me want to press all those buttons and navigate through space. Great job on the wires on top of the ceiling as well as creating such a nice atmosphere outside the ship. 1 Quote Don't spit into the well, you might drink from it later. -----Yiddish ProverbGlossy Galaxy Ball---How to Make FoliageMy Gallery PDN Fans--My DA

skullbonz
Thank you everyone for your nice comments,it makes me feel good to hear them. I took your advice Welshblue and went back to the panels. While I was there I didn't like the blue light so I toned that down a tad to. How's it look now? (good thing I have 2.25 tb of space for all these files, lol) Quote http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery
Drydareelin
Very nice piece and great textures! I would've added a very slight glow to the laser bullet...things...(don't judge me.) The 3D spherical display on the top screen looks really good. Keep up the good work! skullbonz
Thank you Drydareelin, not sure what you mean by the laser bullet, lol. My newest one was inspired by Welshblue's newest piece. I decided to try my hand at a warehouse, not as fancy and buffed as his,it's my first, lol. It took me all weekend and not counting all the layers it took to make each layer,I had 39 layers before merging. This one made the old pc work a little, lol. I used multiple textures and made every piece in pdn. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery-update-april-29th-wharehouse/page-1 Edited April 29, 2013 by skullbonz Quote http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery
DrewDale
Top work on the factory Skullbonz. Very realistic cogs and barrels, plenty of detail and depth to it. Excellent.
barbieq25
I really like all the different elements. Mind you they are not all to scale - at least I hope those cogs are really no that huge! Nice way of putting into practice all that you have learnt over time too. Bit of shadow around the bottoms of the elements would add a bit more depth. The grate in the floor is very cool You need a great big pat on the back! Well done! Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. HELEN
That's a very cool warehouse--looks very similar to Welsh's. I love the light lamps in the back because for some reason, it adds a mysterious look to this image. You added some outlets which is cool...ooh..and a fire extinguisher. I still don't really know how to use one. And by the way, fire alarms are always so tempting to pull so I'm happy this one is just an image. I forgot to add that your texture work is impressive. skullbonz
Thank you Drew,Barbie and Helen. @Barbie- They do make cogs that big, lol. I struggled with lighting and shadows in this picture because the light comes from multiple locations. I finally just had to say enough was enough before I screwed it up,lol. @Helen- Shame on you for not knowing how to use a fire extinguisher, you're local fire department would be more than happy to show you how for no cost anytime,(as long as they aren't going to a fire at the time, lol). My textures are from a library I started a couple years ago. It is a mixture of pictures I took and textures I made in pdn. I have a separate folder for textures and inside that have separate folders for each texture type. It is much easier to find what I need by doing this and keeping it organized. I also keep adding more textures as time goes by which is making this library quite large, lol. HELEN
Yeah, I know. My sister taught me how to use it in theory, but I never actually took out the nozzle to put down a fire. Believe me, if there will be a fire and a fire extinguisher's around, I'll learn how to use it from fear. Fear is a great teacher. barbieq25
Many of us struggle with the lighting/shadow & I am one of those. I too have a texture library & stock items feels great to use your own stock doesn't it? Skullbonz, I think they must be the spare cogs from Big Ben or something I've been trained in using a fire extinguisher. Didn't take much to put out the fire but the focus was on technique. skullbonz
Lol,ya when it does happens fear takes over and the technique goes out the window, lol, lol. I wanted to show you all something different that I do but don't really post anywhere. I just posted a couple photos I touched up a bit in PDN,lol. This is the youngest of my three grandaughters,Maya. Cute as a button and always smiling. No one in my family, including cousins, are safe from my PDN'ing, lol, but I go easy on the cute ones and do pretty things for them, lol. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery-update-may-9th-photo-edits/page-1 Edited May 10, 2013 by skullbonz Quote http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/21233-skullbonz-art-gallery
