I don't think I ever went to a barber shop, but I wouldn't mind visiting this one. It looks quite homely. Maybe even a little mysterious.

The detailing on the door is impressive as are the steps. Is there a significance to the number 12 on the black thing to the right (doorbell or mailbox)?

Barber's shop made me smile  .  Very cute and I love all the little bits you made to put it together.  Even the key-hole!  Are those pennies on the floor?  (And - you really need to cut back on the ciggies sadno.gif) .

Thank you everyone

The name of the barber was what I thought of the bald barber my dad used to bring me and my brother to when we were kids. It wasn't cool to go to school with a butch haircut during the Beatle years, lol. I always said don't trust a bald barber, lol  ;)

lol,Thanks welshblue,I will endeavor to persevere on my next one. I knew the hinges were sticking out like a sore thumb and would really be on the inside but who would break into a barbershop, lol. The place is closed so the barber pole would not be lit and it's dusk so the shadows are almost non existent.    As for the pennies, they came from heaven.   :D

@ Daniels- I wondered that myself one time and the only thing I could come up with was that I was an alien in a different life and these are remnants from my memory that bled over, lol.   ;)

@ Barbie- I like those two also. ;)

Thanks you two   :)

Thank you for your comments and Helen I use a lot of layers, blending modes and experimentation. While making other types of pictures I often stumble upon something that would make a good nebula along with my wild imagination, lol.

Now in light of recent events I have placed myself under house arrest and the booking was done at the 33rd precinct which I added a picture of. The only thing not made from scratch is the badge on the sign.    :)

After getting real sick and spending a week in the hospital with tubes and needles stuck in me all over the place I could not wait to get back to my baby and Paint.Net. Of course space was my first choice to work on being I am still a bit spaced out, lol.

First off, I'm sorry to hear that you were sick. I hope you get a speedy recovery and will be healthy very soon.

And second, I'm in awe about your latest works. Wow! I saw all of them and I was shaking my head in disbelief. You pay so much attention to detail and it all completes the images so well. Now if only I could get them tickets to visit those places...!

Thank you all so much,it was a rough time but I am feeling better each day.  Thank you all for your comments on my pics.   I have the one you talk about Dryda as a pdn file so I can edit any layer in it.  Which clouds are you saying should be less subtle, the foreground ones, background or both? And by less subtle do you mean like decrease the transparency or darken or  something else? I kind of want to blur the light rays a bit also, they look too defined. Open for suggestions.   ;)

Working on some tickets Helen, lol   ;)

By the way the one with the two pyramids was an experiment to see if I could make a pyramid from scratch. I started with a triangle and the brick plugin.
