warfighter67
I made this using shaped gradient! Any news on where the developer went? This is an awesome plugin! If there were ways to add multiple colors to the shaped gradient, that would be awesome! P.S. Sorry for the bump, but this plugin deserves more attention. Greg135
Hello there, I've tried downloading and installing all the available versions, but I can't find the plugin in PDN.... I started a thread at the risk of double posting to try and find a solution here: Anyone have any ideas? Regards Greg

Greg135
Thanks Ego Eram Reputo, I've found out that much.... The problem is that I've downloaded and installed all the different versions of the plugin (one at a time) and when I then fired up PDN and Shaped Gradient is not there!!! The version that Red Ochre suggested was 1.3....which is the last one I tried....no success... So the question is - How do I fix this? Should I uninstall PDN? If so, how do I make sure that I can re-instate all the plugins that I have? Any ideas? Regards Greg
Ego Eram Reputo
I downloaded the one linked to in the first post of this thread (shapegradient1_5.zip) Unzipping it gives you the file shapegradient.dll. Move/copy this to your Paint.NET/Effects folder and restart Paint.NET. Q: you're using the latest version of Paint.NET right? (3.5.10) Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
qwertyuu
Even with a powerful CPU and a lot of RAM, this takes a lot of time to render (using a 2400 x 1800 picture) Trying it out anyways! This is what I've done: 2400 x 1800 blank picture B&W gradient diagonal Pixelate effect on maximum selected a part of the pixelated part with the wand applied the shaped gradient tool on it resized down 1/3 to get a nice look (now 800 x 600) neat! Ego Eram Reputo
Can you post a screenshot of your Effects folder, showing the path to the folder and the contents (as much as you're able to show)? qwertyuu
Ok ....took a screenshot as requested. Hopefully this is what you need.... Regards Greg You appear to be in the Paint.NET folder... you need to navigate to the Effects folder INSIDE the Paint.NET folder. Ego Eram Reputo
Correct. Greg you have the file shapegradient.dll inside the Paint.NET folder. It needs to be in the Paint.NET/Effects/ folder. zokeper
I was hoping to try this out, but unfortunately the download link is handing me a 403. Might someone be as good as to post the file as an attachment, or a working link to it?

Ego Eram Reputo
Fixed. As @n d hasn't been around for a few years, I've added the zipped *.dll to the first post in this thread. HyReZ
Currently I have been using the Shaped Gradient plugin on larger canvases (5k x 5k pixels) and have encounter render times of 25 minutes or more. Will this plugin be re-coded to support shorter render times for large canvases?
