janettsue
I come to your Gallery all the time when I am looking around and catching up but I have never left a comment. Don't know why. So I am leaving a comment so you will know I do stop by. I hear people say, "Clean work". That is what always comes to my mind. I think in you beats the heart of a true graphics artist. Though I am often a silent viewer I will be back to enjoy your work. Quote "One can't complain. I have my friends. Someone spoke to me only yesterday." Mike Ryan
I'd love some feedback on this: I have found it to be extremely difficult to create a stylized, small button like the above and I think that is like my one hundredth attempt

Mike Ryan
So, I am in AP Art this term. (Didn't want to be because of the work load, but the art teacher likes me so it should be a fun class). Anyways, here is my first AP Art piece as rendered in TerraGen then heavily manipulated in Paint.NET. Because I am in AP Art, expect a lot more from me. My portfolio type is 2D, and I think I might move into these kinds of scenery renders for my concentration. Edit: The above image is reduced in size. I'll work on getting a full size up by night's end.

N00Bz
Hidden Content: Many would believe that this would be on the back of a Tool album, or had it had more vibrant colors that it would be an OMA creation. But instead this is just me messing with Zoom Blur, Radial Blur, and Xor. Look at the patterns created by difference methods! I see an optical illusion in there Edited August 15, 2010 by N00Bz Quote | My Gallery|My deviantART|
barbieq25
Great effects! Love the peaceful colours & the shimmer on the water. The islands remind me of flocks of birds or bats. In any case, very pretty to look at & well done! Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. April Jones, 2012 Gallery My DA Gallery

Mike Ryan
Here is another AP Art piece that is one hundred percent Paint.NET. This is actually part of my concentration, so I have a ton of similar pieces. Hope you guys like it!

Mike Ryan
AP Art is a highschool course that - should you score high enough - allows for college credit at most major universities in the United States. barbieq25
I do like that one very much too. Combining the organic colourful swirls with the geometric black & the echoes of the geo shapes is fantastic! Well done! Keep them coming! Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. Mike Ryan
Yeah, all of these were a study into shape and color. All of them have a carefully crafted balance and color harmony that I attempted to achieve. I am happy they are well received! Two more since you guys like them:
