  2. The Gradient tool can be set to transparent and applied to opaque pixels. The Gradient tool can be set to color, with either the primary or secondary color set to zero Alpha -Transparency. This can be applied to transparent pixels and produce an alpha gradient. Alpha masking can also be used to make variations in alpha/opacity. Use Feather Object or AA'sAssistant Plugins: Feather Object AA's Assistant Alpha Mask Import

This should save a lot of time/tedium in the area of saving and naming at save. ===================================== Learn the keyboard shortcuts for the tools and other functions that you'll be using. http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/KeyboardMouseCommands.html ===================================== Be aware that when using the move tools, fine adjustments in position can be made with the arrow keys. ===================================== I don't know whether cropping to a fixed size/canvas position will be part of this, if so, there are some things that can be done to help with that. ============================================= Best of luck with this project.
  12. If you want the two images to be side-by-side, expand the canvas until it is large enough for both.
