  1. kelly: Progress!! Now that the Antialias situation is no longer an installation problem, you need to make a new post in the Antialias plugin thread, so it will come to the attention of the plugin author. Best Wishes. Sarkut .
  2. kelly: If anti alias file is "Antialias_v1.5.8.0.dll" should be okay. You can replace it if you want to be sure. ============================== Goal is to have only these two in Effects folder: Antialias_v1.5.8.0.dll TileFillFromClipboard.dll
  3. kelly: Remove the "tile from clipboard2 file folder". Also remove the "tile from clipboard2 SLN" file. The "tile from" file should be a .dll file. ============================== Download the Tile Fill .dll here: Link is in the Attachments box in the first post. Says "TileFillFromClipboard.zip [5.47 KiB]" =============================== [Edit] Goal is to have only these two in Effects folder: Antialias_v1.5.8.0.dll TileFillFromClipboard.dll
  4. kelly: Thanks for the clarification. The download for AntiAlias is the .dll itself. Perhaps you downloaded the Source Code. Try downloading the .dll again. The download link is just below the kitten pictures. Most likely you do have the current version of PdN, you can check for sure, by opening PdN, clicking Help > About. Also, is there anything in the Effects folder other than the Tile fill .dll? If so, what?
  5. kelly: Just now I downloaded and installed both plugins you refer to, both work. I also use Vista. Most likely there is something very specific that you are doing or not doing that results in the difficulty. You write: "we cannot get ANY plugins to work." Have you tried several others, and none work? "tried to drag into paint.net." Is Vista failing to execute the drag-and-drop? Are you placing the plugin .dll into the PaintDotNET Effects sub-folder? Do the plugins not show up in the Effects menu of PdN, or do they appear where they belong, but are non-functional? What version of PainDotNET are you using? Is your Vista OS up to date on Service Packs, etc? More information is needed.
  6. Good tutorial, barkbark00. Thanks. And look! Another apple! http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/8792 ... esfina.png
  7. HELEN thank you for sharing your beautiful creation --- the Galaxy Ball. Step 7 is still a mystery to me. <!-- m -->http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/3395/g ... olo101.png<!-- m -->
  8. If this result is suitable, it can be done with Octagonal/Quad reshape/matte plugin, Power Stretch plugin and patience. Drawing a mask on a transparent layer helps, too. http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/7439/flags021za.jpg
  9. Cracked and peeling paint. If these Crack Effect brushes seem useful they can be downloaded here: http://funerals0ng.deviantart.com/art/Crack-Effect-Brushes-59952105 ==================================================== Extracted from the .rar file with this: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html ==================================================== Removed from the abr file with this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/abrviewer/files/ Or this: http://www.easyelements.com/abrview.html ==================================================== And used in Paint.NET with the CustomBrushesMini plugin. ====================================================

  11. dgirl555: The extra screenshots helped. I was using the wrong gray, it makes a surprising difference. http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/2990 ... ot025c.jpg
  12. juza: Re. posting a picture: ================ http://imageshack.us/ ================ How to Post Images
  13. Nice effect, dgirl555. I haven't been able to duplicate it. This is the closest I've gotten, and had to do a lot more steps to get this close. Maybe you could show more details, like a screen shot of the Fire! effect window showing the settings you used. The effect I get at this point is very dark, mostly black in the areas where your image is silvery. That plugin is Tom Jackson's Fire Effect, btw. ==============================================
  14. Thanks for the response, DarkShock. So what's the right way, pick a moderator at random and PM them, or something else.
  15. In the first post, the word "font" needs to be replaced with the phrase "file type plugin". ============================================================== Also, in The Rules, the phrase "the Overlook" needs to be replaced with "The Alfredo". (Rule 11 and Rule 21) Thanks.
