This and Ctrl + Alt + Page Up/Down are missing from one section of the the Keyboard & Mouse Input page of the docs (they're in the Layers Window section, but not Layers Window). I've flagged them for inclusion in the next revision.

Option #2 Download the attached Paint.NET Shape file, unzip it and drop the *.XAML file into your Paint.NET/Shapes folder, then restart PDN. RoundedHex.zip

If your hexagon is solid-filled, or the edges have some thickness, try Effects > Noise > Median at a low Radius.

Because 'many' people don't understand how data loss occurs when you save an image as a JPG. Rick (Paint.NET Developer) does. For this reason, he treats your image data with a great deal of respect and makes the default loss-less. For more, read this:

Third option: Gravity Remove the black background and run Gravity plugin using either a left or right alignment

Two options: Image Distortion - Second shape on the top row with the image right aligned on the canvas. Alternative - use Effects > Distort > Bulge (again on a large canvas, something like 2000px high). Make successive bulges to realign the receipt.
