  1. ....or Google Forms (it's free and easy to use).
  2. Yes, it was done four years ago when I wrote that To download the file, go to the first post in this thread and look for the word DOWNLOAD in blue. Click the link beside it. For information on how to install the plugin , go here: https://forums.getpaint.net/forum/36-how-to-install-pluginsgeneral-plugin-troubleshooting/
  3. Hi @weirdozzie - welcome to the forum It's going to be really hard to do what you want with any kind of automation. The best I could dream up is a labor-intensive manual method. Usually in cases like these, it's easier to just take new photographs. Feel free to upload the images - so long as they are family friendly. Someone might have a clever idea to help you out.
  4. Really simply: an "embedded sRGB color profile" means the image has it's own table of colors which it uses to make sure the image displays the same way across different platforms.
  5. In both the toolbar and the file menu Print is distanced from the other options by separators. Perhaps you'd find the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+S or Ctrl+Shift+S) less problematic? tl;dr: No
  6. I've just updated VS2022 to version 17.1.0 and can confirm that the issue has been resolved- so no need to use the workaround
  7. I wonder if there is an opportunity here to 'drop' or 'stamp' the shape onto the canvas at the default size rather than dragging it out? I'm thinking a single click + modifier key to stamp the shape onto the canvas at the size specified in the XML file.
  8. Yes, that's how @TechnoRobbo implimented the value noise algorithm I was using. The texture is generated across the surface from top left. If the surface is larger, more texture is generated. Different sized surfaces should have the same texture when overlaid (see second image below). When we fake the wrapping around a sphere, a larger texture will wrap differently than a smaller one. These planets use the same texture, with the smaller using a subset of the larger. The center of the texture is mapped to the center of the planet.
  9. Generally, these go in your paint.net/Effects/ folder. If you're using the Store bought version, the procedure is a little different: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/InstallPlugins.html
  10. I've been busy. @toe_head2001 and @otuncelli are both contributing. Good things come to those who wait
  11. Brilliant comp. Thanks @lynxster4 for the hosting! Congrats to the other winners & everyone who took part. You showed off the Planetoid plugin really well & made me proud.
  12. Just ask Marty McFly. If you undo one History item, all of the subsequent items will be irrecoverably lost. It's the time-travel paradox
  13. Good news! I've successfully updated to VS 2022 and got the plugin building and running in PDN. Yay!! Rick, Toe_head and @otuncelli are all assisting me to improve the plugin. With that kind of programming firepower backing me up how can I lose?
  14. Thought I might drop this in for others to find. VS2022 gave me this error..... Open Tools > NuGet Package Manager > Package Manager Console > At the command prompt, type dotnet restore <solution name>
  15. Thanks for the offers of help @Rick Brewster and @otuncelli. I've created a GitHub repo for the project & invited Rick & Toe_head. @otuncelli if you want to contribute, PM me your GitHub handle.
  16. Can you please give me a step-by-step guide to make the crash reproduce. Not a video, the actual steps.
  17. Don't let go of the mouse button! Once you do, the control nubs are 'tacked' in place. Each then requires a click-and-drag operation to move it. If you want a straight line to remain straight, you'll have to try and accurately define both the start and end points with the first click-and-drag operation.
