  1. How about ShapeMaker? You can use it to make lines with hundreds of nodes.
  2. Your screenshot shows the plugin is not installed. Try looking it up in the Plugin Index. It will give you a link to where you can download the plugin if it is truly missing in action. The index also shows what the DLL/file is called. You might want to search for this on your PC to see if it is somewhere it shouldn't be. Good luck.
  3. To add the new image, are you using Layers > Import from file?
  4. Problem is @Assaf Wollman is trying to create circular text, but is using Creative Text Pro to try and achieve it. @Assaf Wollman - You're using the wrong plugin
  5. ^ Agreed! Ctrl + Shift + N = create new layer. This has to be one of my most used shortcuts. After a while it becomes a habit to create a new layer for every new element you're adding to the image.
  6. Try increasing the Tolerance of the magic wand a few percent. You can even do this after the selection is made (and still active).
  7. July Update No new plugins this month. I've updated a couple of listings and added a new filter = "INCOMPATIBLE"
  8. I think you're trying to open the *.dll files. Don't. Simply unzip them (if contained in a zipped container file), and move them to the correct location. See here: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/InstallPlugins.html
  9. I'm sure there is Agreed, and for little benefit. These 'lost' plugins are actually quite rare. In the Plugin Index, check the 3.5x compatibility checkbox. I'll update the compatibility to include 4.3x
  10. Try AlphaSpace if the background is a uniform white or black. Alternatively (if the background is non-uniform, and composed similar shades), Magic wand & the delete key. Remember to save the file in a format that supports transparency (like PNG). JPGs in particular often interpret transparency as a solid black or white.
  11. I'm hoping to see more adventures of Space Cat!!!
  12. Thanks @ReMake and @ardneh. I've flagged the Brush Factory entry as obsolete in the Index and added a new entry for Dynamic Draw. This means people can still find Brush Factory and will get pointed to Dynamic Draw.
  13. I immmediately thought of the Stitch plugin. It works best over non-uniform colors - so I added some noise prior to running the plugin.
  14. Hello @ragtimersue - welcome to the forum When the clone stamp tool is active, Ctrl + Click sets the area to be cloned. This will move as you move the cursor- so what you're really setting is the relationship between the cloned area and the cursor. More >> https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/CloneStamp.html If you want to stamp the same area over and over, select the area, copy and paste repeatedly.
  15. At step 1 - did you flatten the image before saving?
  16. Hello and welcome to the forum @CometChaser Paste your second image into a new layer with Ctrl + Shift + V. Then you'll want to lower the opacity of this new layer (press F4 and adjust the Opacity slider) so the first image shows through a little.
  17. Hi @LuckyGamer09 - welcome to the forum The offer to expand the canvas only appears when the image to be pasted is larger (wider and/or taller) than the current canvas. More information here: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/EditMenu.html#7
  18. Look under the Adjustments menu. The name to look for is Hue / Saturation Plus
  19. When reducing, dividing the size by an even power of 2 (1/2, 1/4, 1/8.....) will yield the best results.
  20. Hi @Jayx20 - welcome to the forum Try swapping out your keyboard for another. It might be a failing key (you could also try the other shift key to confirm this)
  21. I disagree. The resize ratio is probably more applicable to dealing with photos and other finished images. When creating, I think the deform option would be more used. Using the Shift key is well understood as a modifier, and I think it's use here as a limiter makes perfect sense.
  22. I often wish for more flexibility in the line ends. What I usually do is draw the line then add a custom shape as the ends (as in the cone shape below)
  23. Exactly! Now we just need to tell Rick how easy this would be to code
  24. Take a line drawing like this one: https://fiverr-res.cloudinary.com/images/q_auto,f_auto/gigs/216145837/original/2eff7d5ec6fb408223efefbd679831572b20030c/create-a-minimalist-line-drawing.png Recolor the white backbround (hot pink!) Apply Dents at a large scale Clip to your shape.
