  1. I immmediately thought of the Stitch plugin. It works best over non-uniform colors - so I added some noise prior to running the plugin.
  2. Hello @ragtimersue - welcome to the forum When the clone stamp tool is active, Ctrl + Click sets the area to be cloned. This will move as you move the cursor- so what you're really setting is the relationship between the cloned area and the cursor. More >> https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/CloneStamp.html If you want to stamp the same area over and over, select the area, copy and paste repeatedly.
  3. At step 1 - did you flatten the image before saving?
  4. Hello and welcome to the forum @CometChaser Paste your second image into a new layer with Ctrl + Shift + V. Then you'll want to lower the opacity of this new layer (press F4 and adjust the Opacity slider) so the first image shows through a little.
  5. Hi @LuckyGamer09 - welcome to the forum The offer to expand the canvas only appears when the image to be pasted is larger (wider and/or taller) than the current canvas. More information here: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/EditMenu.html#7
  6. Look under the Adjustments menu. The name to look for is Hue / Saturation Plus
  7. When reducing, dividing the size by an even power of 2 (1/2, 1/4, 1/8.....) will yield the best results.
  8. Hi @Jayx20 - welcome to the forum Try swapping out your keyboard for another. It might be a failing key (you could also try the other shift key to confirm this)
  9. I disagree. The resize ratio is probably more applicable to dealing with photos and other finished images. When creating, I think the deform option would be more used. Using the Shift key is well understood as a modifier, and I think it's use here as a limiter makes perfect sense.
  10. I often wish for more flexibility in the line ends. What I usually do is draw the line then add a custom shape as the ends (as in the cone shape below)
  11. Exactly! Now we just need to tell Rick how easy this would be to code
  12. Take a line drawing like this one: https://fiverr-res.cloudinary.com/images/q_auto,f_auto/gigs/216145837/original/2eff7d5ec6fb408223efefbd679831572b20030c/create-a-minimalist-line-drawing.png Recolor the white backbround (hot pink!) Apply Dents at a large scale Clip to your shape.
  13. I interpreting this as @LineArtPotato requesting the ability to customize the color of layers natively (using PDN and not a plugin).
  14. Thanks ReMake! Added the updated link to the first post.
  15. Doh! Sorry BB I spent far too long fighting the PDF vs JSON formatting I was so proud of....

  17. Hi @Bthnt & welcome to the forum Brilliant! PDN is not really set up to do what you ask. I know I've considered using it this way too. Plugins can only change the active layer - so they are not going to do it. The best I can suggest is to put the Adventurers on the same layer & move them as a group. Alternatively, use a plugin (like Paneling) to move one object then you can repeat the same move by changing layer and pressing Ctrl + F to repeat the move operation.
  18. I asked Rick about this quite a while ago. At the time Rick explained that adding layer masks would break existing PDN files (not something he was willing to entertain).
  19. No. You'll have to add layers manually. The plugin framework does not allow new layers to be created.
  20. This is often called the Pleasantville Effect. Find a tutorial HERE. There is also a PLUGIN - although it works best on images where the subject can be selected by color. Here's another simple method: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/113614-desaturation/?do=findComment&comment=552566
  21. Try this plugin. I was VERY impressed with the results (see second post).
  22. Confirmed. Local hosting of the PDF has always been fraught. It might just be easier to link to a Dropbox file or Google Doc.
  23. ^ This. To the layer name I add the font-size, color and any applied styling. Makes it a breeze to reproduce the text if an edit is needed.
