  1. Please, if you want to show off your sig, go to the "Rate the signature below you!" thread. We hardly ever want to see sigs posted and then find you've changed your sig to the one you just posted.
  2. Self promotion? Yes. Shameless? Not really... Heh, which reminds me of two things.... 1. Where's the fifth and final plug-in 2. Where's the sig tutorial
  3. I swear that the featuring system on dA is un-fair. I mean, the only way they usually find this stuff is when browsing for random things
  4. You mean themes, right? Why do people get this program when they felt the need to make something which they'd need this for, anyways? *sighs*
  5. No. Wrong on both counts. PdN is written IN C#, not FOR C#. Plugins can be written in any .NET language (or even non .NET languages, if you really feel like causing yourself misery...) Actually, I mean IN, but I mispelled it....... :?
  6. I don't think it would be easily possible to allow Java and Visual Basic forms to be coded into plug-in's for PDN, probably because Java dosen't use the .NET framework, if I'm right. PDN is written for C#, which is basically a newer version of C++, but I guess Rick might be able to do that for next release. Although, it would be easier mabye just to check online for some basic C# tuts, it's basically the same as C++ Although don't let me sway what your going to do, of course.
  7. Well, never use Polar Inversion unless you know how to use it with a full canvas. Draw some lines, however random, can be made to look good and blend in with a design.
  8. Polar Invert Wallpaper First time I've actually made a wallpaper from what I've learnt with PDN effects. Ok, lets get started. The border things were done with the Borders and Shapes plug-in multiple times, then I duplicated them a few times. I then used Fragement on all of them but one, one which would remain as a border type thing. Then I Polar Inverted them all at different settings, also duplicating one and turning it around to give the center piece effect. I then used a gradient to get rid of the ugly middle bit. I then on a lower layer used the Diagonal Lines plug-in, then Bulged it, followed by another Polar Invert. With some messing around with the Layer Options, I'm finished. So, I'd say that my PDN learning has finished for now, but I guess your always learning, right? I'll release the PDN if enough people ask for it.
  9. I was just wondering, could for the next release of PDN, that the Polar Inversion effect and others can have an dialog like in Zoom Blur Duluxe where you can choose the center of the effect?
  10. I seriously believe you want a free Photoshop. I mean, is this really going to help people much? I mean, I don't see the point in reducing the time for a cutting an image out from 3 minutes to 13 seconds.
  11. Well, I used to be a Vista-esque graphics fan, but now I'm a minimalist (I practice the religion of Minimalism). BTW, I also like BB00's idea. An extreme minimalist. I mean, how can you use that Firefox set-up? :?
  12. Very nice, though the moon's refelection is a bit flat, if I do say so myself. Anyways, here's basically a flash I made with the help of some other people (I mean, action script while it being useful is a HUGE pain in the but) of the few pages I made of the endorphin comic so far: http://ilia-and-link-lover.deviantart.c ... r-68194620 If anyone wants the background image I made posted, just ask me here, and also, can someone suggest any ideas for some looping music to put on for it?
  13. I'd think it would be easier done by hand than trying to implement a feature like that which isn't of much use, really.
  14. A picture showing this mabye. Though the nodes thing on it is plain impossible to implement.
  15. What do you mean by glossy? if you want some shine on something, I use a light colour of the main colour of what your wanting to shine, then use the paintbrush on the area you want to be shined, then gaussian blur it at an amount of 30-90, depending on what looks best.
  16. Yeah, but dosen't Windows do that whenever your looking at pictures?
  17. Ok, sorry, but I'm going to flip soon. And I'm also probably about to break the shouting rule aswell. We don not care about your future projects, especilly when they're as annoying as this. Anything like this is being reported as spam.
  18. Noooo. The Software Development Kit (SDK) contains mainly compilers, debuggers, the doc and such. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_development_kit Does that come with the .NET 3.0 Framework by default, or is it an additional download?
  19. Polar Roses Something I got while messing on with Polar Inversion a lot I really only used Polar Inversion and two other distort tools, and two types of blur. The PDN is included aswell.
