  1. Yes, I will release the source once I finish my changes. I still want to add the ability to include a custom icon and submenu organization. BTW, I've done some research about including an icon and it looks fairly easy. I just need to find some time to implement it. Also, putting effects into submenus is easy. I'm working on another effect at the moment.
  2. Well, sorry, gotta upgrade to 3.0 for that functionality.
  3. You can also do: Image > Flatten in the menu if you want to flatten all layers of the image. This works in 2.72
  4. I wouldn't worry too much about it, usedHONDA. Its not like there is money on the line or anything. I would like to be surprised who wins *cough*CMD*cough*
  5. You can get mixed results from this: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/delcolor If you are trying to get rid of Red, Green, or Blue you will have good results. If you are trying to get rid of Cyan, Magenta, or Yellow you will ge "meh" results. If you are trying to get rid of White (or any color not on the color wheel's edge) you will get bad results. Ok, you probably want this then: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2178 Or, you could learn how to use the magic wand and the delete key.
  6. This page will help you get started with installing effects: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/install
  7. Yeah, that's exactly the graphic. It is on the front page of http://www.download.com
  8. If you think about it, that doesn't make any sense because the V is taken from your source image. (Of course, I'm saying that without looking at his source code. But, that's how I imagine he has written it.)
  9. OK, my votes are "in" according to your instructions in the starting post on this thread. It was too hard to narrow it down to only 3. I had to leave out too many good ones. And, I didn't even vote for myself!
  10. Why not just open a Poll? Oh, and how many votes does each person get? (I would suggest 3 so that we can vote for ourselves and other people too.)
  11. Which part do you want to keep, the person or the background?
  12. This isn't too hard... Open the file in Paint.net Magic wand the white area and DEL Duplicate the layer In the color window, select the color you want for the outline. In the bottom layer, magic wand the empty area and press Ctrl-I to invert the selection. Press Backspace. With the square selection tool, select the entire layer. Gaussian blur the bottom layer by the number of pixels you want the width of the outline to be. (About 3? in your example.) Duplicate that layer about 10-20 times or until the outline looks solid. Flatten the Image.
  13. Try these two plugins: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=3285 http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2178
  14. Were you attempting to improve CodeLab or were you just looking for the Codelab dll? If so, what were you improving? I'm still working on 2 improvements that I want to make... being able to specify an icon and putting the effect into a specified submenu.
  15. Please stop using the word "gay". You're using it wrong. (This is the 3rd time I've mentioned this to you.)
  16. What is that algorithm? EDIT: Nevermind, I see that effect can be done using the Paint.NET Median blur. I was able to change the first picture into the second with a radius of 3 and a percentile of 10.
  17. Try downloading one that is already built and see if that works? I've done some updates to codelab. You can try it out here: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/codelab Try that and let me know if it works. P.S. Check this page for important information when installing plugins: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/install
  18. Here is a tutorial on it: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2309
  19. Picc84, that looks interesting. Can I see the chrome border with the blue liquid from this picture: instead of the gradiant?
  20. Nice work. I like this one best: "Scientists today announced that they have released the last images taken with the Hubble Space Telescope... the explosion of Neptune." Heh.
  21. Yeah, that's nice. So, what are you doing with Paint.net?
  22. It is always nice to ask the original plugin creator. However, it is generally accepted that if you make changes you could post your code in the original thread. That way, credit is given to the original author.
  23. Probably because it was done with an effect... http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2520
  24. It would be handy if there was a key combination (like Alt?) that would allow you to click to begin a selection in the center of your desired selection and as you drag, the selection grows in all directions keeping your original point as the center of your selection. So, for example, with circle selection, you would be basically drawing the radius of a circle. If we can't have that, can we get crosshair "+" at the center of the selection area when moving/adjusting the size of a selection?
