If you could see me, you would see me impressed. That is almost what I need. With some changes to the plugins, e.g. to allow half and quarter repeats, and some additional plugins, e.g. to print the palette (all the colors) for a given image, this is perfect. What if I need a change to a plugin? Should I do it and post it to to the forum, or would it be better to ask the originater of the plugin?

Hi, First of all let me thank you for this great piece of software. I would like to create a software especially for textile designers. This user group has the need for very special features such as - creating repeats - color separation - recoloring using special algorithm - color reduction - etc. and of course all the features that are already there. Paint.NET would be a great basis for that. The best way would be to write some plugins for the missing functionality. But as far as I understood, the plugins are not integrated tightly enough to allow do certain things. For example in order to create a repeat I would need to show a second window in which the main image is always shown in a tiled way. What would be the preferred way to extend Paint.NET with functionality that need a tight integration? What would you recommend?
