  1. BTW, condHSadj.dll shows up in the Adjustments menu instead of the Effects menu.
  2. That's what dA is for. Remember... first and foremost, this is a Paint.NET forum.
  3. Yes, that is on my TO DO list. As soon as I find some time, I will be recompiling all of my plugins.
  4. We are talking about creating a new discussion forum within this Paint.NET board. (You know, on the same level as General Discussions & Questions, or Tutorials, or Plugins, etc.)
  5. The rules in the first post state: please do not vote for yourself
  6. We need more details... Which plugins did you try to download? Which version of Paint.NET are you running?
  7. This page describes how to install plugins: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/install 8)
  8. Please read the forum rules: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3446 Choose a better thread title next time. Closed.
  9. oops... Heh. Read the very last paragraph on this page: http://www.getpaint.net/roadmap.html
  10. Well, my vote is in. I had a hard time voting for any image where the polar inversion wasn't totally obvious. And, yes, I still think polar inversion is the worst effect ever written.
  11. What these guys are saying: Please give us specific steps to reproduce the problem including what you expect to happen and what actually happened. THEN, we might be able to help you.
  12. Hey, I have an idea... Why not just use Word, then copy the final graphic and paste it into Paint.NET?
  13. I found some time to update CodeLab! Yay!!! :AddNoise: NEW IN 3.2 - When a standard Effects submenu is used (for example Blurs), effects made with CodeLab will show up in the localized menu when running Paint.NET in a localized mode. - If the Adjustments submenu is chosen, the effect will show up in the Adjustments menu instead of the Effects > Adjustments menu. - A default submenu can be defined in code by using the following comment: // submenu: blurs - CodeLab has been moved under the Effects > Advanced submenu. - Removed the "if (selectionRegion.IsVisible(x, y))" check in the default script NOTE: This is the last update before I tackle the new UI stuff... Go get it here: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/codelab Enjoy. 8)
  14. Try it like this: Create 2 layers. Fill the bottom layer with your darkest color (gray). On the top layer, draw a rounded rectangle filled with white to the size you want. Gaussian blur that rounded rectangle layer using the amount of the size of your desired bevel. Flaten both layers into 1. Select magic wand and change the tolerance to 0. Shift-click in the darkest gray area outside of the bevel. Press the Delete key. Feather the result if necessary.
  15. It needs a better wet floor effect. I think you are not selecting where you want your reflection to go before running the effect. Look at the picture in step 3: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/reflections
  16. That's pretty stinkin' amazing!! wow, you're fast david! haha, thank you very much And, you might have won too... if I had not entered.
  17. Please remember that Rick does not want to simply add one soft brush to Paint.NET. He wants to add the capability to add custom brushes. And, he wants to do it correctly. You'll just have to wait for version 4.0+ Meanwhile, this is a nice workaround.
  18. OK, what version of Paint.NET are you running? What effect DLL's are you trying to install?
  19. Well, for one, you posted in the wrong forum. Have you read this page? http://boltbait.googlepages.com/install
  20. I guess its never too early to start on next year's awards...
