  1. The reflection is actually quite easy. You just need my wet floor effect plugin: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/reflections OK?
  2. david.atwell, I think you mean this page: http://boltbait.googlepages.com/install ValGal, just read this page for help installing effects ^
  3. Custom brushes are not scheduled to be implemented until version 4.0. You can read more about the schedule and features here: http://www.getpaint.net/roadmap.html
  4. Here is a cat that I just drew by hand: You can probably figure it out by yourself. Sorry for the sloppiness. I only spent, like, 5 minutes on this. (Yes, it really is all made up of circles and lines.)
  5. That feature will never be added to Paint.NET.* *Of course, what do I know?
  6. Well, with 2 posts, that's exactly what you are. Glad I could help.
  7. Heh. The only thing I can say in German is, "Ein Bier bitte."
  8. With Paint.NET, you can resize the main window smaller than your physical screen, then move the floating windows off the working area.
  9. He wants to view two pictures side-by-side.
  10. I love this quote: So true. Basically, Rick doesn't want to change the way Paint.NET handles multiple files. He likes it this way. So, if you're going to use Paint.NET, you better get used to it.
  11. In CorelDRAW, red eye removal is a tool, not an effect. All you have to do it click on the tool then click on the eye. It is all automatic after that. Works really good, too.
  12. Be sure to also change the filetype selection (below the file name) in the save as dialog box.
  13. Sorry, that will never happen. Windows 2000 is a dead OS. Time to upgrade to XP.
  14. Just be sure that you are using your right mouse button to move the nubs so that it turns into a Bezier curve and 4 should be enough.
  15. I would recommend creating your own translation. Make it available for download and let the free market decide whose is best.
  16. The reason for this is that the picture you are hiding is being reduced from 24 bits to 3 bits. You have to expect a great deal of quality loss during that process. You can see what your picture will look like by using the Preview check box. Also, you can dither your picture before encoding it since dithering will yeild a higher quality than what I'm doing. So, basically, it is working as designed.
  17. Yes, at the moment the outline effect is a bit lonely. Give me a day or two. I'll fill it up.
  18. You will have to do the drop-shadow separately. Look in the plugin forum for a drop-shadow plugin.
  19. Define "wonky". I can not "fix it" if you don't specifically tell me what is wrong. Include screenshots, etc.
  20. Cool. Now, I just need to update my plugins.
  21. There is a CodeLab script that can help you. (Follow the link in my sig) If you download the entire zip package (not just the dll) you'll find that it comes with a bunch of scripts. One of those makes a nice tie-dye pattern.
  22. Some of those comments are interesting. Like this one: http://developers.slashdot.org/comments ... d=21709346 and this one: http://developers.slashdot.org/comments ... d=21708740
