  2. I couldn't agree more. I wrote a recursive-descent parser in compiler design class when I was in college. Of course, you'll need to start by writing a tokenizer... and come up with a language definition... but, after that, it's easy! Is it bad if I'm about to graduate college with a CIS degree...and I have no idea what you're talking about? Unbelievably. Yes.

  4. I suggest saving your work as a PNG file and using Microsoft Paint to do the actual printing. Seriously.

  6. Using Photoshop may be expensive, but currently it is the only solution to the original problem. (Unless GIMP can open photoshop files. But, I wouldn't know as I have never used GIMP.)

  8. You might want to check to be sure you aren't in his namespace.
  9. Your mouse pointer does not need to be inside of the selection to move it. Just watch for the mouse pointer to change anywhere outside of the selection and move from there. This is a known issue and Rick will fix it when he gets around to it.

  11. No need to reinvent the wheel here. That is a stand alone program. Why not just use it?
  12. It means that your computer does not have enough memory to open the image. You can either: 1) add more memory to your computer 2) use Photoshop to open the image Your choice.

  16. Thanks, everyone. BTW, I really did rewrite this from scratch. The old render loop was 335 lines long and the new one is 50 lines. It is so nice and clean, I might actually publish the source... eventually.
  17. Perhaps an old file is being cached by your browser. Clear your browser cache and try the download again.
  18. What you want is already included in Paint.NET right out of the box! Read this page from the help file: http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/RotateZoom.html EDIT: Just once I'd like to beat david.atwell to a response. Doesn't that guy ever sleep?
