Crazy Man Dan
CMD, ever make that kick [awesome] tutorial? The Sig one? No, not yet. I did, however make this: Full Size It's an in-progress skin for The Sketchpad! I know, it's not a tutorial, but I had this kick-awesome idea for a skin, and I wanted to get it down in pixels before the aliens zapped my brain. Oh, and I also edited the Heliopad layout to make the text block wider, making it easier to read large blocks of tutorial text, and I'm updating the Glass Orbs tutorial as was requested several *months* ago, so I am doing something... :? All hail Galaxipad! Helio
What, are you going to make them switch to the heliopad design? Looks great. v An excellent open–source strategy game—highly recommended. Crazy Man Dan
What, are you going to make them switch to the heliopad design? Looks great. I think that Heliopad will stay the default style, 'cause I like it like that and I'm the site admin, so what I say goes! What'll eventually end up happening will be something like so: http://technolografik.com/whycss.php (My other site (not made with PDN)) Click on a link on that page to change the page style. Right now, only Furon Default and Back Lawn are near complete. As a quick preview, I just recolored the default style blue: http://cmdsketchpad.com/css.php (Click on the Super Temporary Preview link) Except, for the final new styles, more than just the color will change... Illnab1024
"HTML and CSS" Racist. Yeah I said it, Mr. leave PHP outta the deal. The other site looks GIMPy yet nice. Nice in an adobe kinda way. ~~
Crazy Man Dan
Hey, PHP is simply a language to output dynamic HTML. Show me a styled for{} loop with a 2px border and a background drop-shadow and then I'll include PHP in there. And don't you go picking on The GIMP! Elitist. Yeah I said it, Mr. ...something-or-other. (Yeah, my comeback skizzles need work...) Crazy Man Dan
Go Nutz!: http://cmdsketchpad.com/setstyle.php?css=galaxipad When/If you want to switch back to Heliopad, just click on the "Heliopad" link on the CSS Switcher page. @jake: Yeah, I love that effect. I was experimenting with overlaying glass-like transparent objects on images and very lightly blurring what was under it to give it a diffuse look, and I really liked where it was going. The main reason I created that CSSheet was so I could use that effect somewhere. Edit: Changed information to reflect reorganization of the CSS switcher I am not a mechanism, I am part of the resistance; I am an organism, an animal, a creature, I am a beast. ~ Becoming the Archetype

Crazy Man Dan
@CMD: HTML doesn't validate and CSS validation link is broken.I know it's temporary stuff but I MUST find something wrong in your design. Thank you for pointing out the CSS thing. I left it pointing to the temporary folder that the test layout was in, and I forgot to change it when I made the switch. However, what page doesn't validate? I take that very seriously, and I must know what page is broken! Edit: I found an error in the css.php page, and I fixed it. Also, my testing revealed a mishandling of non-existing querystrings on the tutorial.php page, and that was fixed as well. Thanks for pointing those out! BTW, has anybody else noticed that just about the entire last page was about CMD?... ... ... wow. I have that effect on people.
